A thermal printer (100) includes a thermal head (31), a platen roller (32), a fixed blade (41), a movable blade (42), and a non-adhesive member (44a) arranged on the adhesive surface side of a recording medium. The blade edge moves beyond the non-adhesive member when cutting and retracting, enabling the non-adhesive member (44a) to peel the medium from the blade without a separate peeling mechanism.

A printing control device (200), includes: a print data generation module (210) configured to generate print data; a printing speed analysis module (212) configured to perform analysis of a printing speed with respect to the print data line by line; a printing speed calculation module (213) configured to calculate the printing speed based on a result of the analysis performed by the printing speed analysis module (212) and on a printing misalignment inhibition condition for inhibiting printing misalignment; and a print data transmission module (214) configured to transmit a speed setting command indicating the printing speed and the print data to a printing device (4).

A printer performs automatic calibration of a sheet-detection sensor by acquiring a measurement voltage and setting a threshold according to predetermined conditions. Sheet presence or absence may be determined based on voltage variation during sheet feeding used for voltage-variation analysis. A registration flag may suppress repeated calibration. This configuration reduces user intervention and allows stable detection regardless of sheet type.

A thermal printer (10), includes a thermal head (20) configured to perform printing on recording paper; a platen roller (30), which is arranged at a position opposed to the thermal head (20), and is configured to convey the recording paper by nipping the recording paper between the platen roller (30) and the thermal head (20); a head support member (40) having conductivity, which is configured to support the thermal head (20); a head shaft (50) having conductivity, which is configured to rotatably support the head support member (40); a motor housing (62) having conductivity, which is provided on an outer periphery of a motor main body (61) configured to rotate the platen roller (30); and a conductive member (70) configured to be held in contact with the head support member (40), the head shaft (50), and the motor housing (62) to provide electrical connection therebetween.

An information processing device (10), includes a display control module (105) configured to display a layout frame in which an object is arrangeable; a division operation reception module (101) configured to receive a division operation of dividing the layout frame; a division processing module (102) configured to divide the layout frame into a plurality of layout frames based on the division operation; a selection operation reception module (103) configured to receive a selection operation of selecting an object to be arranged in a certain one layout frame of the plurality of layout frames; an arrangement module (104) configured to arrange the object in the certain one layout frame based on the selection operation; and a data output module (106) configured to output an arrangement of the object as print data.
