A profile setting method for character recognition of a server includes extracting one or more keywords from a result of character recognition processing on a document and displaying the extracted keywords in a selectable manner on a screen of an information processing device. The server accepts a keyword setting from the information processing device such that a keyword will be extracted from a document in subsequent processing based on the selected keyword(s). For example, a keyword in this context may be such things as section headings, titles, and/or information labels. |

According to one embodiment, a product registration system includes a mobile terminal connected to a network to permit a customer to perform product registration operations on products for sale at a store, a store clerk terminal for monitoring customer transactions, a cart control server to register products in a transaction table in response to a product registrations performed with the mobile terminal, and the mobile terminal to display a product registration screen. The cart control server also cause the mobile terminal to display a customer facial image captured by a camera of the mobile terminal or a basket image of a cart to which the mobile terminal is attached and transmits a warning notification to the store clerk terminal when a switching operation is performed to turn off the displaying of the customer facial image or the basket image on the display screen of the mobile terminal. |

The sensing device captures image data of a customer performing an item registration process and a payment process at the POS terminal, The information terminal performs a fraud detection process that includes acquiring the image data from the sensing device, changing a threshold from an initial threshold value in response to detection of a threshold change event during the item registration process or the payment process, detecting specific behavior of the customer from the image data by using an image recognition technique, incrementing a fraud score each time the specific behavior of the customer is detected, determining that the customer has performed a fraudulent activity when the fraud score exceeds the threshold, and transmitting a notification indicating the fraudulent activity to at least one of the POS terminal and the management terminal. |
