A dentifrice composition comprising: a) water, between 20 % and 40 % by weight, b) lactic acid or a salt thereof, between about 0.1 % and about 5 % by weight, c) a copolymer of methyl vinyl ether (MVE) with maleic anhydride or acid, between about 0.1 % and about 0.5 % by weight, d) sodium fluoride e) calcium glycerophosphate and sodium glycerophosphate between about 0.01 % and about 0.50 % by weight; and wherein the dentifrice composition has a slurry pH in the range from greater than about 5.5 to less than about 6.5. Said composition for use in protecting teeth against dental erosion and for use in protecting teeth against dental caries.

This disclosure relates to an applicator cap configured to close a container with a receiving space for storing a topical formulation and an opening for dispensing the topical formulation from the receiving space. The applicator cap comprises a cap base body including a connection portion for connecting the applicator cap to a container, to cover an opening of the receiving space of the container, and a lid that is pivotably connected to the cap base body via a hinge and is moveable between a closed position for closing the applicator cap and an open position for opening the applicator cap.
