Apparatus is provided for removing a ferrule (71) from a pressurised pipe (70). The apparatus comprises: a housing (3) having a formation (18) at one end. The formation (18) is adapted to engage, in use, with a complementary formation (83) on a pipe sealing device (80). An internal member (2) is mounted on the housing (3) and has a first portion (9) located within the housing (3) and a second portion (5) external of the housing (3). The first portion comprises a ferrule engagement portion (9) and the second portion (5) comprising an operating tool engagement formation (6). The internal member (2) is movable relative to the housing (3) between a disengaged position in which a terminal end (8) of the first portion is located within the housing (3) and an engaged position in which the ferrule engagement portion (9) engages with a ferrule (71) on a pipe (70), in use. |

The separator device 10 comprises an inlet 16 and outlet 18 for fluid flow, a method of generating a swirl of fluid on entry to the housing 12, a magnetic element and mesh filter 46 positioned between the inlet 16 and outlet 18 and a sediment collection region 76 for the retainment of separated debris. The mesh filter 46 is in the form of a basket, having an open end facing the bottom of the separator device 10, just above the inlet 16, and the sediment collection region 76 is below the inlet. |

Disclosed is a separator device 10 for removing suspended particles from heating and/or cooling system fluid. The separator device 10 comprises a hydrocyclone separator 38, an inlet 24 to the hydrocyclone separator 38, a sediment collection region 78 disposed below an aperture 46 in the hydrocyclone separator 38, a blocking wall 54 across a central part of the top of the hydrocyclone separator 38 to define an outflow annulus, a mesh basket 44, and an outlet 24 from the separator device 10 for returning fluid back to the central heating and/or cooling system circuit. Suspended particles are primarily removed from the fluid by a vortex that establishes in the hydrocyclone separator 38, and remaining particles are captured and retained in the mesh basket 44 disposed above the hydrocyclone separator 38. |

A device for automatically controlling the rate of flow of water out of a radiator in a central heating system is provided. The device includes a temperature sensor disposed within a conduit for detecting temperature of the water flowing out of the radiator and a valve connected to the temperature sensor and disposed within the conduit.
