A process and a plant for producing a polyolefin obtained by polymerization of propylene; the process comprises: a reaction step, during which the propylene reacts in a polymerization reactor so as to obtain a said polyolefin; a stripping step, during which said polyolefin is contacted with a counter-current flow of saturated steam in a stripping device so as to strip away gases from said polyolefin; a purification step, which takes place at in a purification assembly and during which CO, CO<2> and alcohols are separated from said gasses so as to obtain a stream of treated gases; and a recycle step, during which the stream of treated gasses is fed to the polymerization reactor. |

The disclosure relates to a continuous process for the production of dry polyolefin pellets comprising (a) pelletizing polyolefin melt material in an underwater pelletizing system in the presence of pellet cutting water to produce polyolefin pellets and (b) drying the polyolefin pellets. The process further comprising circulating the pellet cutting water in a pellet cutting water system comprising pellet cutting water temperature control means, pellet cutting water circulating means, and pellet cutting water storage means. The pellet cutting water contains one or more flow aid agents, one or more antifoam agents, and one or more antisticking agents. |

In the present disclosure a polyolefin composition comprising a component I, which is a polyethylene enriched post consumer recyclate and a component II, which is a virgin derived polyolefin, having good mechanical properties such as high Environmental Stress Crack Resistance besides good processing properties and resulting in high quality applications. The polyolefin composition is advantageously used for injection moulding articles and products as caps ad closures. |

The present disclosure relates to polyolefin composition comprising: A) from 99.5% to 60% by weight of a recyclate polyolefin component containing not less than 80% by weight of a waste material selected from polyethylene, polypropylene or their mixtures; B) from 0.5% to 40% by weight of a graft-modified polyethylene obtained by reacting an unsaturated modifying agent selected from unsaturated organic anhydrides, unsaturated organic acids and functional derivatives, different from anhydrides, of said unsaturated organic acids, and their mixtures, with a copolymer B<I>) of ethylene with alpha-olefins, said copolymer B<I>) having the following features: 1) an ethylene content from 50% to 85% by weight, preferably from 55% to 82% by weight; 2) density from 0.840 to 0.910 g/cm<3>; 3) Melt Flow Rate E from 0.1 to 15 g/10 min. measured according to ISO 1133-1 2012-03 at 190 °C, with a load of 2.16 kg; 4) elongation at break equal to or higher than 650%. |
