The present disclosure relates to polyolefin composition comprising: A) from 99.5% to 60% by weight of a recyclate polyolefin component containing not less than 80% by weight of a waste material selected from polyethylene, polypropylene or their mixtures; B) from 0.5% to 40% by weight of an ethylene copolymer having the following features: 1) a 1-octene content from 15% to 50% by weight; 2) density from 0.840 to 0.910 g/cm<3>; 3) Melt Flow Rate E from 0.1 to 15 g/10 min., measured according to ISO 1133-1 2012-03 at 190°C with a load of 2.16 kg; 4) product r1·r2 of the reactivity ratios obtained from <13>C NMR triad distribution, from 0.55 to 2.5, where r1 is the reactivity ratio of ethylene to 1-octene and r2 is the reactivity ratio of 1-octene to ethylene.

The present disclosure relates to polyolefin composition comprising: A) from 99.5% to 60% by weight of a recyclate polyolefin component containing not less than 80% by weight of a waste material selected from polyethylene, polypropylene or their mixtures; B) from 0.5% to 40% by weight of a graft-modified polyethylene obtained by reacting an unsaturated modifying agent selected from unsaturated organic anhydrides, unsaturated organic acids and functional derivatives, different from anhydrides, of said unsaturated organic acids, and their mixtures, with a copolymer B<I>) of ethylene with alpha-olefins, said copolymer B<I>) having the following features: 1) an ethylene content from 50% to 85% by weight, preferably from 55% to 82% by weight; 2) density from 0.840 to 0.910 g/cm<3>; 3) Melt Flow Rate E from 0.1 to 15 g/10 min. measured according to ISO 1133-1 2012-03 at 190 °C, with a load of 2.16 kg; 4) elongation at break equal to or higher than 650%.

A process for the preparation of an ethylene polymer comprising polymerizing ethylene or copolymerizing ethylene and one or more other olefins in the presence of a Phillips-type chromium catalyst in a gas-phase polymerization reactor containing a reactor bed of particulate polymer, which gas-phase polymerization reactor is equipped with a cycle gas line for withdrawing reactor gas from the reactor, leading the reactor gas through a heat-exchanger for cooling and feeding the reactor gas back to the reactor, wherein the reactor gas returned to the polymerization reactor through the cycle gas line has been partly condensed and the amount of liquid in the reactor gas returned to the polymerization reactor is from 3.5 wt.% to 10 wt.% and a multicomponent catalyst retarding agent is fed in an amount in the range of from 0.05 ppm to 2.0 ppm by weight of dosed ethylene, the catalyst retarding agent comprising at least a first component and a second component, wherein the first component and the second component are different from one another.
