The present invention relates to a dryer (10) comprising: ¢ a casing (12) including a basement (13); ¢ a laundry chamber (14) suitable to receive laundry to be dried; ¢ a process air circuit for circulating process air into said laundry chamber (14); ¢ a condensing device (22) for removing moisture from the process air coming from said laundry chamber (14) located within the process air circuit; ¢ a water collecting housing (30) for the collection of moisture condensed by said condensing device (22); ¢ a condensate tank (36) to collect water transferred from the water collecting housing (30); ¢ a pump unit (44) associated to said water collecting housing (30) for the removal of water contained therein and to pump it to the condensate tank (36); ¢ a first conduit (50) fluidly connecting a pump unit outlet (45) to a condensate tank inlet (37); ¢ a second conduit (60) fluidly connecting the condensate tank (36) to an inlet opening (23) arranged in the basement (13); and ¢ wherein the dryer (10) also includes a siphon-like element (52, 62) located in the first and/or in the second conduit (50, 60) to limit air transfer through the first and/or second conduit (50, 60). The invention relates to a method for calculating three-dimensional information of food received within a cavity (2) of a food preparation entity (1), the method comprising the steps of: - capturing at least one image of said food (3) received within the cavity (2) by a plenoptic camera, said image comprising information regarding the light intensity and the direction of light rays traveling in space; or - capturing at least two images of said food received within the cavity (2), said images being taken from different positions during movement of a camera (4); or - capturing at least two images of said food received within the cavity (2) using a camera (2), said images comprising different focus points; and - processing the at least one image in order to establish three-dimensional information of said food (3) received within the cavity (2).

A method for cleaning a cavity of an oven having a steam generation device, comprising the following steps: (i) a step of mild detergent cleaning, comprising (i.1) a step of applying mild detergent to the oven cavity at a predetermined cavity starting temperature (T 0 ), and subsequently (i.2) a step of incubating the oven cavity for a predetermined incubation period of time ( ”t inc1 ) at a temperature T act , (i.3) a step of applying steam generated by the steam gener-ation device to the oven cavity for a steam period of time ( ”t steam1 ) until the oven cavity reaches a temperature T 1 , and subsequently incubating the oven cavity for an incubation period of time ( ”t inc2 ) until the oven cavity reaches a temperature T 2 , and (i.4) a step of removing water and dirt from the oven cavity; and (ii) a step of steam cleaning, comprising (ii.1) a step of applying steam generated by the steam generation device to the oven cavity for a steam period of time ( ”t steam2 ) until the oven cavity reaches a temperature T 3 , and subsequently incubating the oven cavity for an incubation period of time ( ”t inc3 ) until the oven cavity reaches a temperature T 4 , and (ii.2) a step of removing water and dirt from the oven cavity.

The present invention relates to a laundry treating machine (1) comprising an outer casing (2), a washing tub (3), which is arranged inside the casing (2), a rotatable drum (4), which is arranged in axially rotating manner inside the washing tub (3) and is designed to receive laundry to be washed, a softening device (10) provided with: a ion exchanger (11) designed to receive fresh water from a water mains (9) and reduce the hardness degree of the fresh water in order to supply softened water to the washing tub (3), and a regeneration device (12) designed to perform a regeneration cycle to regenerate the ion exchanger device (11); a control panel (13) configured to allow the user to select a washing program comprising a number of washing phases; an electronic control device (15) configured to control the regeneration device (12) in order to perform the regeneration cycle. The control panel (13) is further configured to allow an operator to input first data which are indicative of the hardness of said fresh water and/or input second data which are indicative of supplying softened water or, alternately, fresh water to the washing tub (3) during one or more washing phases of the selected washing program. The electronic control device (15) being further configured to change the amount of the softened water to be used during the selected washing program based on said first and/or second data, determine the amount of softened water which has been provided by the ion exchanger (11), and control the regeneration device (12) in order to activate the regeneration cycle based on the determined softened water.
