According to aspects of the present disclosure, a method for controlling a vehicle based on wheel torque prediction is provided, the method including: a collecting sensor data indicating a driving state of the vehicle; generating prediction data for a wheel torque of the vehicle based on the sensor data using a first model, wherein the first model is a model based on a physical equation and a recursive equation; generating correction data for the wheel torque of the vehicle based on the sensor data using a second model, wherein the second model is a machine learning model; determining final prediction data for the wheel torque of the vehicle based on one or more of the prediction data and the correction data; and controlling the vehicle based on the final prediction data.
