A terminal device receives, from a connected base station device, first setting information for measuring a downlink reference signal transmitted from another base station device that provides a handover-destination candidate cell, and second setting information for reporting a result of measurement of the downlink reference signal, and then receives, from the base station device, a command instructing handover to the cell provided by the other base station device that includes information designating a beam to be used for transmission of the downlink reference signal, in response to receiving the command from the base station and without receiving an instruction for transmission of the downlink reference signal from the other base station device, executes measurement of the downlink reference signal transmitted from the other base station device based on the first setting information and the information designating the beam, and performing handover to the cell provided by the other base station device in response to receiving the command from the base station device. |

A base station apparatus obtains information for generating setting information related to a plurality of cells for a conditional handover (CHO) or a conditional secondary cell addition or change (CPAC) in a terminal apparatus that is currently connected to the base station apparatus, the information including a reference configuration, which is common to two or more cells among the plurality of cells and to which identification information uniquely specifying the reference configuration is allocated, delta configurations that are respectively specific to the two or more cells, and the identification information of the reference configuration to be combined with the delta configurations, provides the terminal apparatus with the information and a condition under which the CHO or the CPAC is to be executed, and in a case where at least one configuration among the reference configuration and the delta configurations is to be deleted or changed, designates the at least one configuration and issues an instruction for the deletion or the change to the terminal apparatus. |
