An electrical connector assembly, and an electrical connector are described herein. The electrical connector assembly includes a terminal assembly and a shell, the terminal assembly including: a conductive wire, including a multi-strand wire harness; and a first housing portion and a second housing portion which are both molded, and configured to fit with each other to define a hollow accommodation portion for accommodating inner cores of the multi-strand wire harness from which a shielding layer has been removed, with conductive cores of the inner cores from which insulating layers have been removed extending out of a leading-out end of the accommodation portion. And the shell includes a first outer shell and a second outer shell which are both configured to fit with each other to collectively define a space for accommodating the terminal assembly. The first outer shell extends in a first direction and the second outer shell extends in a second direction angled relative to the first direction, the multi-strand wire harness and the accommodation portion are constructed to be bent for being received within the shell; and the terminal assembly further includes terminals electrically connected to the conductive cores at the leading-out end. |

Zusammenfassung
The present invention discloses a combined terminal, a connector and a connector assembly. The combined termina includes: a terminal having a first elastic arm formed at the front of the terminal; and a shell sleeved on the front of the terminal. A contact protrusion or a second elastic arm protruding toward the first elastic arm is formed on a top wall of the shell, and the contact protrusion or the second elastic arm is oppositely spaced from the first elastic arm to clamp a mating terminal inserted between the contact protrusion or the second elastic arm and the first elastic arm. A conductive property of a manufacturing material for the terminal is superior to a conductive property of a manufacturing material for the shell, and a mechanical property of the manufacturing material for the shell is superior to a mechanical property of the manufacturing material for the terminal. In the present invention, by using combined terminals, manufacturing costs can be reduced, contact forces between the combined terminals and mating terminals can be increased, and thus reliable electrical contact with the mating terminals can be ensured. |

The present invention discloses a position retaining member, a connector housing assembly, a connector, and a connector assembly. The position retaining member is suitable for movable insertion into a housing (1) of a connector, for retaining an elastic buckle (10) on the housing (1) in a locking position engaged with a locking protrusion (30) on a mating housing (3). When the elastic buckle (10) is held in the locking position by the position retaining member (2) and the elastic buckle (10) is engaged with the locking protrusion (30), the locking protrusion (30) applies a predetermined pushing force on the position retaining member (2) to increase the frictional resistance between the position retaining member (2) and the housing (1) and the insertion and extraction force of the position retaining member (2). In the present invention, the position retaining member can be pushed by the locking protrusion of the mating housing, thereby increasing the frictional resistance between the position retaining member and the housing and the insertion and extraction force of the position retaining member, making it less likely for the position retaining member to be accidentally moved and improving the safety of use. |

The present invention discloses an electrical connection assembly and a connector. The electrical connection assembly comprises: a flexible flat component (4), used for transmitting current; and a row of terminals (3) which are crimped onto one end of the flexible flat component (4). The terminal (3) comprises: a mating part (31), used for mating with a mating terminal; and a crimping part (32) for crimping onto the flexible flat component (4). The crimping part (32) of the terminal (3) is bent 90 degrees relative to the mating part (31), so that the terminal (3) is L-shaped. In the present invention, the crimping part of the terminal is bent 90 degrees relative to the mating part, so that the extension direction of the flexible flat component connected to the crimping part of the terminal is perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the housing, thereby meeting some specific applications. |

Zusammenfassung
The present invention discloses a connector housing and a connector. The connector includes a housing body and a first snap lock. The housing body has a row of first insertion holes that extend in a longitudinal direction of the housing body and are configured to receive a row of first terminals, and a first snap slot that extends in a transverse direction of the housing body and is in communication with the row of first insertion holes. The first snap lock includes: a first cantilever connected to the housing body; and a first hook at a tail end of the first cantilever. The first snap lock is adapted to move between a locked position in which the first hook is engaged with the first snap slot and an unlocked position in which the first hook is disengaged from the first snap slot; a row of first ribs corresponding to the row of first insertion holes respectively are formed on the first hook; and when the first hook is engaged with the first snap slot, the row of first ribs on the first hook are adapted to abut against the row of first terminals respectively to lock the row of first terminals. In the present invention, the ribs and the grooves on the hook of the snap lock can increase the creepage distance between every two adjacent terminals, thus improving the safety in use of the connector. |

The rear end cover (2) has a cable hole (201) that allows a cable (3) to pass through, and the cable holding part (20) has a holding slot (21) for holding the cable (3) led out from the cable hole (201) of the rear end cover (2), the axial direction of the holding slot (21) is at a certain angle to the axial direction of the cable hole (201). In the present invention, the rear end cover is capable of maintaining the cable led out from its cable hole in an orientation perpendicular to the axial direction of the cable hole. Therefore, the present invention expands the application scope of the connector. |

A first end of the fuse is mated with or separated from the first terminal in a plug-in manner. The first terminal includes a circumferential wall and one or more elastic arms. The circumferential wall forms a channel, and the elastic arm is disposed on the circumferential wall and extends towards the channel. The elastic arm is configured to electrically contact with the first end of the fuse inserted into the channel. The connector comprises: a first housing provided with a receiving channel extending in a first direction; a first holder fixed in the receiving channel; a terminal at least partially fixed in the first holder; a first shielding component surrounding the first holder along a circumferential direction in the receiving channel and partially extending out of the first housing; and a second shielding component comprising an installation portion installed on a portion of the first shielding component that is located outside the first housing, and a grounding terminal extending from the installation portion for grounding. The second shielding component is installed on the portion of the first shielding component that is located outside the first housing by means of its installation portion, which not only simplifies the assembly and disassembly of various components of the connector, but also make it difficult for the first shielding component and the second shielding component to be deformed and exceed tolerances during the assembly and disassembly of the connector, thereby optimizing an electromagnetic stability of the connector. |

The connector comprises: a housing provided with a grounding groove for accommodating a grounding component, the grounding groove being provided with a recess along a circumferential direction thereof; and a shielding element partially installed in the housing and provided with a grounding portion extending out of the housing, the grounding portion being provided with a finger along a circumferential direction thereof, wherein the finger is configured to be installed into a corresponding recess, so as to secure the grounding portion to the grounding component, and enable the shielding element to be firmly installed on the housing. In this way, the shielding element is not easily displaced under an external force, thereby meeting high environmental requirements for the shielding element and providing a high vibration resistance property for the shielding element. |

The positioning plate (3) comprises a row of positioning slots (32), and the first connection parts (22) of the row of first terminals (2) are respectively positioned in the row of positioning slots (32), multiple positioning protrusions (3d) are formed in the positioning slot (32), and the multiple positioning protrusions (3d) are pressed against multiple different portions of the first connection part (22) to position the first connection part (22) at a predetermined position. In the present invention, the positioning plate can ensure that the first connection parts of a row of first terminals are in a predetermined position, thereby improving the positional accuracy of the first connection part of a row of first terminals. |
