A fuel cell stack assembly is disclosed. The fuel cell stack assembly comprises a plurality of stacked cells, each including an anode bipolar plate and a cathode bipolar plate. The anode bipolar plate has a first flow field side, while the cathode bipolar plate features a second and an opposing third flow field side. Each flow field side is containing an array of flow distributors, formed by alternating at least one column of first triads and second triads. A membrane electrode assembly is interposed between the anode's first flow field side and the cathode's second flow field side. The alternating triads within the predefined pathway enhance the uniform distribution of a first reactant fluid and a second reactant fluid across the membrane electrode assembly, enabling an efficient electrochemical reaction in the fuel stack. This configuration ensures optimal reactant utilization, enhanced performance, and improved water management within the fuel cell system.

A method for monitoring a property (22) includes receiving by a processor (34), from a Wi-Fi management system (38) of the property, data relating to communication exchanged between one or more wireless-enabled devices on the property and one or more Wi-Fi access points (44) on the property, based on the data, identifying one or more baseline location-related attributes of the devices and one or more characteristics and an estimated location (88) of a particular one of the devices (24), and based on the baseline location-related attributes and the characteristics, outputting an alert (35) indicating that the particular device may be unwanted at least at the estimated location. Other embodiments are also described.

A basketball net having improved ball contacting features is provided. The basketball net may be formed from an antimicrobial and moisture wicking fiber and may be configured to increase contact between the ball and the fibers of the basketball net. As compared to a traditional net, the basketball net may include thicker fibers, a tighter weave, an increased number of knots, larger knots, a smaller interior diameter, and other features to increase contact with a surface of a basketball during play.

A method for monitoring a property (22) having multiple rooms (42) includes, using a processor (34), ascertaining respective locations and types of the rooms by analyzing a floorplan (40) of the property, receiving, from a Wi-Fi management system (38) of the property, data relating to communication exchanged between one or more wireless-enabled devices (24) on the property and one or more Wi-Fi access points (44) on the property, based on the data, identifying one or more characteristics and an estimated location (88) of one of the devices, based on the estimated location of the device and the locations of the rooms, identifying the room in which the device is likely located, and based on the characteristics of the device and the type of the identified room, outputting an alert (35) indicating that the device may be unwanted at least at the estimated location. A racing game device comprises a sloped basin with a hole at its lowest point and a stand to support the basin. One or more balls are configured to roll in the basin and pass through the central hole. A channel is provided arranged to collect balls falling out of the hole wherein the channel is sloped and runs from beneath the hole within the stand, to a more accessible point, laterally further away from the hole.

An apparatus for heat exchangers can include a mechanism or flow control processing arrangement that can be configured to maintain a temperature profile of the internal components of a heat exchanger within a pre-selected temperature range during periods of non-operation of a plant process or facility to help reduce the thermal stress incurred by the heat exchanger and its internal components. Embodiments of the heat exchanger apparatus and process of heat exchanger operation can facilitate maintenance of a pre-selected temperature profile in a heat exchanger during periods of non-operation or non-use and also facilitate quicker start-up operation when plant processing is to resume with heat exchanger operation.

An apparatus and process for low temperature regeneration that can be utilized in adsorption systems can include feeding low temperature regeneration gas to at least one off-line adsorber for regeneration of the adsorbent material within the vessel of the off-line adsorber(s). The regeneration time period can be set to facilitate regeneration of the adsorbent material without a need for a high temperature regeneration to occur. Some embodiments can be configured so a post-cooling operation while the regeneration gas is fed to the adsorber(s) can be avoided to permit embodiments to more effectively utilize heating time.

A method and system of detecting visibility and/or surface conditions at a location in a road network. The method comprises capturing with a camera (30) at least one image (60) of a junction located in a road network where a traffic light is located. The image is communicated to software running on a computer system. The image is input to an Al component of the software trained to output a classification of the image relating to the visibility or surface condition. The visibility or surface condition is detected based on the classification.

Transport refrigeration units of a type configured to cool or heat the interior of a mobile enclosure, such as in a trailer or lorry, are provided together with related methods. In one instance, the unit comprises a chassis, at least one air movement device (55); and a mounting assembly (200). The assembly comprises sliding pins (212) fixed to the air movement device and extended at the sides; and first and second rails mounted to or formed by the chassis. The rails have respective channels (203) for receiving the respective sliding pins, wherein when mounting the air movement device the channels receive the pins at a proximal end and guide the fan assembly in a first direction towards a received position in the chassis as the pins slide along the channels.
