Zusammenfassung
The invention relates to a gate actuator for closing and opening a closure system. The gate actuator comprises a DC electromotor and a motor control circuit. The motor control circuit comprises a shunt resistor and a current measurement circuit configured to measure the current through the shunt resistor. The current measurement circuit comprises an amplifier part configured to convert the shunt voltage over the shunt resistor in an offset shunt voltage which is positive when the shunt current is positive as well as when the shunt current is negative. The current measurement circuit comprises also a comparators' part comprising a first comparator and a second comparator. The first comparator provides a first comparator signal to the MCU part when the offset shunt current is higher than a first predetermined voltage value and the second comparator provides a second comparator signal to the MCU part when the offset shunt voltage is lower than a second predetermined voltage value. And, the MCU part interrupts the electromotor when the first comparator signal or the second comparator signal is received. |

The PMC (1) comprises: a main voltage converter (6) for converting input power from the energy harvester (2) into a load output power, a controller (7) for controlling the main voltage converter (6) and operable if supplied by a supply voltage Vint of at least Vint_min (Vint ≥ Vint_min), a biasing circuit for converting part of the input power from the energy harvester (2) and supplying power to the controller (7) at least when Vint = Vint_min, a step-down voltage converter (10) configured for converting energy supplied by the energy harvester at a voltage Vin and for supplying power to the controller (7) if and only if Vin ≥ Vint and Vint ≤ Vint_min. Upon starting to receive energy from the energy harvester (2), the PMC (1) is configured such that: i) while Vint ≤ Vint_min, the step-down voltage converter (10) supplies power to the controller (7) such that Vint increases up to Vint_min; and ii) upon Vint reaches Vint_min, the step-down voltage converter (10) interrupts the supply of power to the controller (7), and the biasing circuit supplies power to the controller (7). |
