The present invention relates to an improved high-solids wood coating composition wherein said high-solids wood coating composition comprises, relative to the total weight of said high-solids wood coating composition, from 60.00 to 99.00 weight percentage of a triglyceride oil composition, wherein the triglyceride oil composition comprises, relative to the total weight of all fatty acid residues in the triglyceride oil composition, equal to or less than 15.00 wt. % of saturated fatty acid residues (SAFA) and from 30.00 to 85.00 wt. % of at least one fatty acid residue having at least three conjugated double bonds; from 0.01 to 2.00 weight percentage of at least one metal-based drying agent; from 0.50 to 10.00 wt. % of at least one acylphosphine oxide photoinitiator; at least one α-hydroxyalkylphenone photoinitiator according to general Formula (I_P2) or according to general Formula (II_P2), wherein the at least one α-hydroxyalkylphenone photoinitiator is present in an amount as determined by a weight ratio of the at least one α-hydroxyalkylphenone photoinitiator to at the least one acylphosphine oxide photoinitiator ranging from 0.5 to 10.0; equal to or less than 5.00 wt. % of at least one radically polymerizable (meth)acrylic-functionalized compound different from the compound (P1); and wherein said high-solids wood coating composition has a total solids content equal to or greater than 90.00 wt. %, relative to the total weight of said high-solids wood coating composition, and wherein the total solids content of said high-solids wood coating composition is measured according to the standard ASTM D2369 - 20.

A beverage capsule (10) for use in a beverage preparation machine to prepare a beverage by passing a fluid therethrough. The beverage capsule comprises: a cup-shaped body (12) having a base (14) and a sidewall (16); a lid (22) sealed to the cup-shaped body; and a punctured filter plate (20) positioned inside the cup-shaped body and dividing the interior volume into a first compartment for holding beverage ingredients (24) and a second compartment. The punctured filter plate is located at a distance from the base which is larger than a piercing height of a draining member of the beverage preparation machine. The cup-shaped body, the lid and the punctured filter plate are made of a material comprising metal. The punctured filter plate is held in place by two sets of crimps provided in the sidewall and located on opposite sides adjacent the punctured filter plate.

The invention relates to a gate actuator for closing and opening a closure system. The gate actuator comprises a DC electromotor and a motor control circuit. The motor control circuit comprises a shunt resistor and a current measurement circuit configured to measure the current through the shunt resistor. The current measurement circuit comprises an amplifier part configured to convert the shunt voltage over the shunt resistor in an offset shunt voltage which is positive when the shunt current is positive as well as when the shunt current is negative. The current measurement circuit comprises also a comparators' part comprising a first comparator and a second comparator. The first comparator provides a first comparator signal to the MCU part when the offset shunt current is higher than a first predetermined voltage value and the second comparator provides a second comparator signal to the MCU part when the offset shunt voltage is lower than a second predetermined voltage value. And, the MCU part interrupts the electromotor when the first comparator signal or the second comparator signal is received.

The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for accelerating a cold-start of a power management circuit (PMC) (1) for managing an input power from an energy harvester (2). The PMC (1) comprises: a main voltage converter (6) for converting input power from the energy harvester (2) into a load output power, a controller (7) for controlling the main voltage converter (6) and operable if supplied by a supply voltage Vint of at least Vint_min (Vint ≥ Vint_min), a biasing circuit for converting part of the input power from the energy harvester (2) and supplying power to the controller (7) at least when Vint = Vint_min, a step-down voltage converter (10) configured for converting energy supplied by the energy harvester at a voltage Vin and for supplying power to the controller (7) if and only if Vin ≥ Vint and Vint ≤ Vint_min. Upon starting to receive energy from the energy harvester (2), the PMC (1) is configured such that: i) while Vint ≤ Vint_min, the step-down voltage converter (10) supplies power to the controller (7) such that Vint increases up to Vint_min; and ii) upon Vint reaches Vint_min, the step-down voltage converter (10) interrupts the supply of power to the controller (7), and the biasing circuit supplies power to the controller (7).

A closure system comprising: a pivotable gate (3); a gate post extending in an upright direction and comprising: a mounting foot configured to be mounted on a ground surface; and a bearing frame (11) extending in the upright direction with the pivotable gate being hingedly connected to the bearing frame, the bearing frame comprising at least two support members (52) which are located on opposite sides of the bearing frame; a mainly L-shaped actuator (4a, 4b) which is at least partially positioned inside the bearing frame and comprises: an output member (20, 21) engaging the pivotable gate; and further support members (55), wherein the actuator is supported inside the bearing frame by intercoupling of the support members. By virtue of the support members, the gate post and actuator can be readily assembled without requiring complex operations by common fixation elements.
