Über die Kanzlei
Wilson Gunn wurde 1864 von John Guy Wilson in Manchester als Patentagentur gegründet und ging nach dessen Tod an den Erfinder und Unternehmer John James Royle über, ehe Walter Gunn die Praxis übernahm und ihr den bis heute geführten Namen gab. Die Birminghamer Niederlassung, seit 1998 Teil der Kanzlei, geht auf die 1884 von der Familie Skerrett gegründete Praxis zurück, während das Londoner Büro seit 2001 hinzukam. Neben Manchester ist Wilson Gunn heute auch in Birmingham, Liverpool, Chesterfield, London und Dublin vertreten und ging bereits 1995, früher als die meisten Wettbewerber, mit einem eigenen Internetauftritt online. Über die Patentanmeldung hinaus begleitet die Kanzlei Mandanten bei Marken, Designs, Urheberrecht sowie der Durchsetzung und Vermarktung von Schutzrechten.
