There is disclosed a computer-implemented method of generating audio signals for an array of woofers and an array of tweeters housed in a computing device, the method comprising: receiving a plurality of input audio signals to be reproduced, by the array of woofers and the array of tweeters, at a respective plurality of control points in an acoustic environment; and generating a respective output audio signal for each of the woofers and tweeters by applying one or more cross-talk cancellation algorithms to the plurality of input audio signals to control a pressure at each of the plurality of control points, wherein the array of woofers consists of two woofers and the array of tweeters consists of at least three tweeters. |

A patch cord comprising a multi-mode fiber (MMF) having an MMF core diameter, and a photonic crystal fiber (PCF) having a hollow core having a mode field diameter (MFD) that is smaller than the MMF core diameter. The MMF and the PCF are spliced together, and the MMF and the PCF have been actively aligned to maximize the overlap integral of a fundamental mode of the MMF while minimizing the power in other modes. |
