Embedding-based search adjustment system is described. In an example, a search system generates digital content embeddings based on digital content characteristics using machine learning and indexes these embeddings with respective identifiers according to an embedding schema based on the digital content characteristics. Upon receiving a search result containing references to multiple items in response to a search query, the search system generates a search result embedding for the referenced items using machine learning. The search system then performs a similarity search comparing the search result embedding against the digital content embeddings to generate affinity scores. User interaction data related to the items in the search result is obtained. Based on both the affinity scores and the user interaction data, the search system adjusts the items within the search result. The adjusted search result is then presented for display in a user interface.

The present disclosure provides an inflation system for inflating inflatable objects, such as aircraft tires. The inflation system includes a flow sensor arranged to sense a flow rate of pressurized air supplied to an inflatable object by way of a supply path. The inflation system also includes a computing system. The computing system is configured to inflate, using feedback from the flow sensor, the inflatable object with a learned volume of pressurized air specific to the inflatable object.

A cavitation nozzle is disclosed, including a plate, a hollow body, and a cap removably engaged with the hollow body and holding the plate against a distal end of the hollow body. The plate may have a central aperture and a distal surface, wherein the distal surface is bisected by a groove and the hollow body is configured to deliver high pressure fluid through the central aperture. The delivered high pressure fluid may be discharged as a cavitating jet.

The present disclosure provides techniques for localizing RF interference devices and identifying impacted RF receiver paths or positions. A plurality of RF interference events are collected from one or more data sources. A group of RF interference events that indicate interference from a common RF interference source are identified from the plurality of RF interference events. An RF receiver location is estimated from each RF interference event. A plurality of RF interference source location constraint regions are created, each region being a volume referenced to an estimated RF receiver location. An overlapping volume that the plurality of RF interference source location constraint regions intersect is identified. An RF interference influence volume is defined by expanding the overlapping volume based on an interference range of the RF interference device as a function of direction.

A projector includes a housing, a display controller, a display engine, and a drive assembly. The display controller is coupled to the housing. The display engine is enclosed in the housing and is coupled to the display controller. The drive assembly is coupled to the housing and is configured to selectively position the housing.

Disclosed is a technique for establishing a secure communication session between a mobile device and a card reader. The technique can involve using a trusted, remote validation server to validate security information of both the card reader and a POS module in the mobile device prior to, and as a precondition of, the card reader and the POS module establishing a secure communication session with each other. In certain embodiments the POS module sends the security information of both the card reader and the POS module to the validation server. The security information can include cryptographic keys of the POS module and the card reader and additional security information related to the POS module and its software environment.

Disclosed herein is a method and system to determine whether a payment terminal has been tampered with based on a comparison of attestation data received from the payment terminal, for example in an offline mode when an otherwise secure remote server cannot be reached. If the determination yields that the request has been approved, the terminal generates an attestation ticket having one or more validity conditions, wherein the validity conditions include expiration time that indicates the time after which the attestation ticket becomes invalid. The attestation ticket can be used as long as it is valid or until another trigger causes the ticket to be invalidated or regenerated.

A point of sale (POS) device includes a nest portion and a cradle portion. The nest portion includes one or more payment card or near field communication (NFC) readers. The cradle portion couples to differently-sized interchangeable frames, which in turn help secure a mobile computing device to the cradle portion of the POS device. The mobile computing device is connected via a connector to the rest of the POS device. Payment card information read by the readers is conveyed to the mobile computing device over the connector for processing. The POS device may also include tamper detection circuitry.

A system for managing and using digital financial assets, such as cryptocurrency uses multiple independent devices that mutually cooperate to control cryptocurrency assets in a secure manner. Each of these devices may store a unique private key associated with the cryptocurrency assets, which may be configured such that a certain minimum number of these private keys are required to transfer the cryptocurrency assets. The use of multiple private keys spread across multiple distinct devices may reduce the likelihood of loss stemming from a hardware failure or reduce the likelihood of an attacker successfully gaining access to the cryptocurrency assets. In addition, selection of the devices to be used for storing these private keys, as well as how many private keys are required to authorize a transaction, may be tailored to balance a user's preferences for reliability of access versus security and for third-party custody versus self-custody.
