Jaw health systems and methods are described in which headphone devices are used to generate metrics related to the jaw health of a user. In one aspect, headphone devices worn on either side of the jaw may each determine the number of bites and chews of a user during an ingestion process and may then generate an imbalance metric. In one aspect, the headphone devices may be used to determine a food or substance toughness during the ingestion process.

The present disclosure generally relates to managing user inputs. In some examples, devices receive user inputs via a biometric sensor, such as a fingerprint sensor. In some examples, devices receive user inputs via a button. In some examples, devices receive user inputs via touch sensors. In some examples, the biometric sensor and/or the touch sensor is integrated into the button.

An electronic device with a display and a touch-sensitive surface receives notification(s) while the device is in a screen-off state. After receiving the notification(s), the device detects an input for waking the device to a screen-on state. In response, the device transitions to the screen-on state and displays the notification(s) on a wake screen user interface. The device further detects another input for dismissing the wake screen user interface and ceases to display the wake screen user interface. Afterwards, the device detects a third input for redisplaying the wake screen user interface. In response, upon determining that the third input meets notification-clearance criteria, the device redisplays the wake screen user interface without displaying at least one of the notification(s); and upon determining that the third input does not meet the notification-clearance criteria: the device redisplays the wake screen user interface and redisplays at least one of notification(s).

Techniques are disclosed relating to improving memory reliability, e.g., in the context of memory circuits with limited reliability features. In some embodiments, memory controller circuitry is configured to communicate with memory circuitry via an interface that supports link error detection. The memory controller circuitry may, based on a corruption indicator, transmit a data and parity combination for the first data block that causes the memory circuitry to detect an uncorrectable write interface error. Subsequent reads of the location may therefore cause an uncorrectable error indication. This may advantageously allow the memory controller circuitry to propagate a corruption indicator as an uncorrectable error in the memory circuit, without requiring additional tracking of the indicator by the memory circuit or memory controller, in some embodiments.

A method comprising: providing, by a navigation application executing on an electronic device, navigation instructions on a display screen of the electronic device; executing the navigation application in a background of the electronic device; turning the display screen of the electronic device off after a lapse of a preset period of time during which the electronic device does not receive any input; turning the display screen of the electronic device on when the electronic device approaches a navigation point; and automatically executing the navigation application in a foreground of the electronic device.

Wireless circuitry may include a transmission line that carries a signal and a power detector that measures the signal. The detector may include a rectifier coupled to a comparator over a differential path. An offset calibrating digital-to-analog converter (OSDAC), a reference generator, and a multiplexer may be disposed on a negative line of the differential path. The OSDAC may produce an offset-compensated voltage by adding different offset voltages to a voltage on the second line over time. The reference generator may generate a set of threshold voltages by adding different reference voltages to the offset-compensated voltage. A temperature sensor may adjust the reference voltages used to generate the threshold voltages based on a temperature of the power detector. The multiplexer may route different threshold voltages to a negative input of the comparator.

A wireless circuitry has a radio configured to transmit radio-frequency signals to a wireless base station during a first scheduled data block and during a second scheduled data block separated in time from the first scheduled data block by a measurement gap having a neighbor cell measurement period. The wireless circuitry further transmits a radio-frequency sensing signal and receives a reflected radio-frequency sensing signal during a transition period of the measurement gap that is before or after the neighbor cell measurement period. One or more processors are configured to detect an external object based on the reflected radio-frequency sensing signal received by the radio.

This relates generally to intelligent automated assistants and, more specifically, to provide a handsfree notification management system. An example method includes displaying one or more notifications by the electronic device. In response to displaying the one or more notifications, the method includes detecting a visual interaction of a user with the one or more notifications, identifying a notification from the one or more notifications based on the visual interaction, receiving a speech input related to the notification from the user, determining one or more actions associated with the notification based on the speech input, and performing the one or more actions.

A uniform protocol can facilitate secure, authenticated communication between a controller device and an accessory device that is controlled by the controller. An accessory and a controller can establish a pairing, the existence of which can be verified at a later time and used to create a secure communication session. The accessory can provide an accessory definition record that defines the accessory as a collection of services, each service having one or more characteristics. Within a secure communication session, the controller can interrogate the characteristics to determine accessory state and/or modify the characteristics to instruct the accessory to change its state.
