The two areas may include a first area configured to support a portion of an arm of a first seat occupant in a first aircraft seat coupled to a shared armrest including the contoured armcap. The two areas may include a second area configured to support a portion of an arm of a second seat occupant in a second aircraft seat coupled to the shared armrest including the contoured armcap.

The restraint apparatus includes a backing plate (120) to support a back surface of the mobile electronic device. The restraint apparatus further includes a support assembly (310) that includes support tabs (210) to support the bottom end of the mobile electronic device and a support bias mechanism (315) to bias the tabs in at least one of an extended or retracted position. The restrain apparatus further includes a claw assembly (320) that includes claws (215) to support the top end of the mobile electronic device and a claw bias mechanism (325) to bias the claws in at least one or a default or protracted position. The system may further include wireless charging capability.

A triply periodic minimal surface (TPMS) is described. The TPMS is adjustable and tunable depending on desired breathability, vibration performance, weight reduction, pressure distribution, and the like. The TPMS may be used in a cushion of a passenger seat. The cushion may be used for one or more locations of the passenger seat, including a head rest cushion, a back rest cushion, a seat pan cushion, and the like. the TPMS may include a cylindrical gyroid. Each of the cushions may include multiple of the cylindrical gyroids.

A beverage maker device is disclosed. In embodiments, the device includes an external housing and a water tank (202) coupled to a water supply via an inlet. The beverage maker includes a manifold (204) within the housing, the manifold controlling the dispensing of the water into a server or through a faucet via solenoid valves (206). Within the inlet body connecting the tank to the water supply are plumbed two pressure transducers on either side (e.g., tank-side and coupling-side) of a restriction orifice. The tank-side and coupling-side pressure transducers (410, 408) sense flow pressure on their respective sides of the restriction orifice and generate tank-side and coupling-side flow pressure signals. Within the housing a process control board (PCB) (208) includes control processors and control circuitry in communication with the solenoid valves. The PCB control processors determine a differential pressure associated with the water flow based on the received tank-side and coupling-side pressure signals.

The control circuitry receives the pressure signal and determines a flow volume of the water through the inlet based on the flow pressure; if the flow volume reaches a flow threshold, the control circuitry cuts off the flow of water via the solenoid valves.
