The present invention relates to a water-based composition comprising methylcellulose and an antimicrobial natural extract, which is useful and suitable for coating fruits and vegetables having an edible casing, to extend their shelf life and extend the time until perishing. The coating obtained by applying the water-based composition to fruits or vegetables, is edible and does not negatively affect the appearance, flavour and smell of said fruits or vegetables. Zusammenfassung
The invention relates to a system for recovering foundry sand comprising: a rotary drum open at its upper base for depositing the sand to be recovered therein, a cover which can adopt an open position for allowing passage through the upper base of the rotary drum, and a closed position for closing passage through said upper base, and means for generating electromagnetic radiation installed on the cover, such that when the cover is arranged closing the upper base of the rotary drum, the electromagnetic radiation generated is directed towards the inside of the rotary drum. This technique for recovering foundry sand based on the use of microwave energy successfully cleans the sand at great speed, preventing CO2 emissions, and with low energy consumption. |

Zusammenfassung
The present invention refers to a method for manufacturing a phosphorylated lignin which is soluble in water at a pH range of 2 to 14. Said method comprises the efficient phosphorylation of lignin preventing the formation of undesired species, which leads to an outstanding water solubility at neutral and acidic conditions, and, preferably, the separation of the water-soluble phosphorylated lignin from the reaction medium, wherein said separation comprises acid precipitation and/or ultrafiltration and drying under specific conditions. The invention also refers to a phosphorylated lignin that is water-soluble at a pH of 2 to 14, preferably obtained by the method of the invention. |
