The management system (10) comprises a threshold verification module (36) configured to receive the distances between the vehicles (12) and determine the alert levels based on the distances between the vehicles (12), by comparing the distances with one or more thresholds that depend on one or more of the following threshold factors: type of road section traveled by the vehicles (12); type of goods; intensity of the traffic; and the type of driving of the vehicles (12).
