A safety device 100 includes a container 10 including a lid 12, an ejection object 20 to be accommodated in the container 10, an actuator 30 including a piston member 31 that slides toward one side to push the lid 12 from inside to remove the lid 12, and a gas generator 38 that is located on the other side of the piston member 31 and generates a driving force that causes the piston member 31 to slide toward the one side, and a placement member 70 that is located in an intersecting direction intersecting a sliding direction of the piston member 31 with respect to the gas generator 38 and on which a trigger device 90 that activates the gas generator 38 can be placed. |

A gas generator (1A) includes a housing main body (10) made of metal, a holder assembly (20), and an igniter (40). The holder assembly (20) includes a first holder (20A) made of metal and a second holder (20B) made of resin, the first holder holding a base (41) of the igniter (40), an ignition portion (41) of the igniter (40) being accommodated in the second holder. The first holder (20A) is fixed to the housing main body (10) by being sandwiched between a first swaging portion (11) and a second swaging portion (12) provided in the housing main body (10). The first swaging portion (11) is covered and in pressure contact with a second barrel portion (23) of the second holder (20B). The second holder (20B) further includes a lid portion (26) that spaces a gas generating agent (60) apart from the ignition portion (42). The lid portion (26) is arranged at a distance from the ignition portion (42). |
