A hearing aid comprising a beamformer equivalent with single-channel filtering (FB2C, BF1, GU, DIS) is presented. The disclosure may be used for noise reduction. The hearing aid comprises a) an input unit (IU) providing at a primary electric input signal (x1 (k,n)), b) a frequency band to channel unit (FB2C) providing a first secondary electric signal (x̃1 (k̃,n)) based on the primary electric input signal (x1 (k, n)), c) a wireless receiver (WR) allowing to establish a wireless link with at least another device and receiving at least a second secondary electric signal (x̃2 (k̃, n)), d) a first signal provider (SP1) for providing an output of the first signal provider based on the first secondary electric signal (x̃1 (k̃,n)) and the second secondary electric signal (x̃2 (k̃,n)), e) a second signal provider (SP2) for providing an output of the second signal provider, f) a distribution unit (DIS) distributing the input of the distribution unit, g) a processor providing a noise reduced electric signal (y1 (k,n)), and h) an output unit (OU) for providing a stimulus for being presented as an acoustic signal to the user of the hearing aid. |

In an aspect of the present disclosure, a hearing aid system comprises a first hearing aid and a second hearing aid, both configured for wireless communication. The first hearing aid comprises a first input unit providing a first electrical audio input signal, and a first noise reduction system comprising a first noise reduction parameter to attenuate noise and providing a first processed signal, and a first motion sensor for providing a first motion bias, and a first conversation detector for providing a first conversation parameter indicative of conversation likelihood, and a first output unit for providing a first audible output signal based on the first processed signal. The second hearing aid comprises a second input unit providing a second electrical audio input signal, and a second noise reduction system with a second noise reduction parameter to attenuate noise and providing a second processed signal, and a second conversation detector for providing a second conversation parameter indicative of conversation likelihood, and a second output unit for providing a second audible output signal based on the second processed signal. The first noise reduction parameter is determined based on the first motion bias and the first and/or second conversation parameters. The second noise reduction parameter is determined based on the first motion bias and/or the second conversation parameter. |

A hearing aid configured to be worn by a user at or in an ear of the user, comprises • an ITE-part adapted for being located at or in an ear canal of the user; • at least one first input transducer configured to provide corresponding at least one first electric input signal representing sound; • a hearing aid processor configured to provide a processed signal in dependence of said at least one electric input signal; • a first output transducer configured to play sound to the user in dependence of said processed signal, or a signal dependent thereon; • an active occlusion cancellation system (AOCS) for providing an acoustic anti-occlusion signal configured to cancel or diminish a sense of occlusion of the user when the user is speaking, or otherwise is using his or her voice, or when otherwise moving the jaws; wherein the active occlusion cancellation system comprises • an ear canal input transducer located in said ITE-part and configured to provide an electric ear canal input signal representing sound in said ear canal, when the user wears the hearing aid; • an ear canal sound estimation unit (ECSE) configured to estimate sound in said ear canal and to provide an electric anti-occlusion signal in dependence of said electric ear canal input signal and said processed signal; and • a second output transducer located in said ITE-part configured to play sound to the user and to provide said acoustic anti-occlusion signal in dependence of said electric anti-occlusion signal, wherein said second output transducer is specifically adapted to provide sound at frequencies below a threshold frequency. A method of operating a hearing aid is further disclosed. |
