There is described a method for washing containers comprising the steps of: advancing a series of beams (5) along a washing path (P) spaced from one another by a pitch (K); spraying the containers (2) by a rotary spraying device (13) including an actuation wheel (15); actuating the actuation wheel (15) in rotation by means of contact interaction of pushing members (16), carried each by a respective beam (5); detecting the presence and position of each pushing member (16) within a detection section (18); defining an encoder main interval (19) representative of said pitch (K);the step a) of advancing comprises actuating a motor including an absolute encoder configured to provide an integer number representative of the actual position of the pushing member (16) along said pitch (K); the method comprising the steps of: reading the integer number corresponding to the position of the pushing member (16) within the detection section (18); comparing the read integer number with an expected nominal integer value representative of an expected nominal position of the pushing member (16) within the detection section (18).

There is described a washing machine (1) for washing containers (2) and comprising: a prewash zone (C1), a treatment zone (C2) and a rinsing zone (C3) arranged in succession along a washing path (P), the rinsing zone (C3) and including a plurality of rinsing devices (14); the washing machine (1) further comprises: a supply duct (15) configured to feed clean and fresh rinsing fluid to the rinsing devices (14); a collector tank (17) arranged upstream of the rinsing devices (14) and configured to collect rinsing fluid from the rinsing devices (14); a recirculation circuit (19) fluidically connecting the collector tank (17) with the prewash zone (C1), the collector tank (17) defining a buffer for the prewash zone (C1); and a heat pump configured to receive part of the collected rinsing fluid from the collector tank (17) and treating solution from the treatment tank (13), the heat pump (20) is configured to absorb heat from the received rinsing fluid and to transfer the absorbed heat to the treating solution.

A system (1) for monitoring motion anomalies in a container processing machine (2) having a plurality of moving mechanical parts (19), the system having: a vibration sensor arrangement (4), coupled to the container processing machine (2) to detect vibration patterns associated with the operation of the container processing machine (2) and to generate corresponding vibration signals (Sv); and a computing unit (6), coupled to the vibration sensor arrangement (4) to receive and process the vibration signals (Sv) in order to detect motion anomalies of one or more of the mechanical parts of the container processing machine (2). The computing unit (6) computes a vibration frequency spectrum associated with the vibration signals (Sv); determines, for each of the mechanical parts one or more current critical frequencies associated with occurrence of corresponding motion anomalies; automatically detects a motion anomaly to one or more of the mechanical parts of the container processing machine (2), analyzing the vibration frequency spectrum in relation to the respective current critical frequencies.

There is described a washing machine (1) configured to wash empty containers (2) adapted to be filled with a pourable product, the washing machine (1) comprises: a conveyor device (4) configured to convey a plurality of containers (2) along a washing path (P) in an advancement direction; at least one tank (7) for holding a cleaning medium, the washing path (P) extending within and along the tank (7); and a hollow passage (11) which extends through the tank (7) and which is fluidly isolated from the tank (7); the washing machine (1) further comprises a pair of extraction devices (12a, 12b) arranged in fluid communication with the tank (7), fluidly isolated from the hollow passage (11), and configured for detaching/removing labels from the containers (2) advanced in the tank (7) and for receiving the detached/removed labels, thereby extracting such labels from the tank (7).
