Systems, methods, and software for displaying an asymmetrical implant relative to image data representative of a patient, wherein the asymmetrical implant is configured to be attached to an implant insertion tool in one of multiple orientations. A computing device receives the image data representative of the patient, receives tracking data indicative of a pose of the patient and a pose of the implant insertion tool, and receives a model of the asymmetrical implant which includes an implant pose vector. The computing device determines an orientation of the implant pose vector relative to the image data based on the tracking data. The computing device presents a representation of the model of the asymmetrical implant relative to a representation of the implant insertion instrument based on the determined orientation of the implant pose vector. |

Disclosed is a method for improving use of a medical imaging device and an optical tracking system, the method comprising: obtaining a current pose of a medical imaging device relative to an optical tracking system; obtaining a predicted movement that the medical imaging device will undergo for acquiring a medical image of a patient; determining a predicted movement path that is associated with the medical imaging device; and based on the predicted movement path, triggering display of a visualization that is configured to guide a user in repositioning the optical tracking system and the medical imaging device relative to one another such the medical imaging device can be tracked via the optical tracking system over at least a predefined minimum portion of the predicted movement path. |

Zusammenfassung
CPR systems and/or CPR devices that are configured to dynamically change, and/or cause output of a feedback signal(s) relating to, a compression position during CPR treatment are disclosed. An example CPR system includes a processor(s) and a sensor(s), the sensor(s) configured to sense a parameter associated with a subject as chest compressions are being administered to the subject. The processor(s) is configured to determine, by analyzing the parameter sensed by the sensor, that a heart valve of the subject is not functioning, and, in response to determining that the heart valve of the subject is not functioning, cause a feedback signal to be output as feedback to change a position on a chest of the subject at which future chest compressions are to be administered to the subject and/or cause a chest compressing mechanism to change the compression position automatically. |

A system for augmenting a vertebral body comprises an access cannula comprising a distal end positionable within the vertebral body and defining a lumen along a longitudinal axis, and an introducer device comprising an actuator, and a shaft comprising a rigid proximal portion coupled to said actuator and defining a proximal end of said shaft, and a flexible distal portion at or near a distal end opposite said proximal end with a length of said shaft between said proximal and distal ends being sufficient for said shaft to extend through and be operable beyond said distal end of said access cannula, wherein said flexible distal portion is configured to move between a plurality of curved configurations within the vertebral body to target sites offset from said longitudinal axis. The system further comprises a flexible sheath at least partially overlying said shaft with said flexible sheath comprising a distal end positionable near said distal end of said shaft such that said flexible sheath is configured to extend through and be operable beyond said distal end of said access cannula with at least a distal portion of said flexible sheath configured to conform to said flexible distal portion as said flexible distal portion moves between said curved configurations, and at least two radiopaque markers disposed on said distal portion of said flexible sheath and spaced apart from one another such that, as said distal portion is curved within the vertebral body, relative positions between said at least two radiopaque markers is viewable on radiography to determine extent of curvatures of said curved configuration. |
