Zusammenfassung
Systems and methods for augmenting a vertebral body. The system includes an access cannula, an introducer device, a sheath device, and a treatment device. The introducer device may be moved from unconstrained state to a constrained state in which a pulling element is tensioned. The access cannula may initially prevent the shaft sheath from assuming a curve, after which the introducer device and the sheath device may be advanced relative to the access cannula to assume the curve within the vertebral body. An actuator of the introducer device may include a resilient arm configured to resiliently deflect such that a lock head releasably engages a feature of a handle of the introducer device. A spacer lock facilitates proximal movement of the sheath relative to the access cannula so as to expose the treatment device within the vertebral body at a location offset from a longitudinal axis of the access cannula. |

Zusammenfassung
A balloon catheter which allows for faster preparation and effective purging of air. The balloon catheter includes an elongated, flexible catheter having an inner lumen. A balloon member is secured to an outer surface of a distal portion of the catheter such that an inner surface of the balloon member and an outer surface of the catheter define an inflatable balloon interior. The catheter has an inflation lumen connected to an inflation port and extending distally to a distal end in fluid communication with the inflatable balloon interior. One or more purge apertures are provided in a wall of the catheter, each forming a fluid path between the inflatable balloon interior and the inner lumen of the catheter to allow for purging air from the catheter prior to use in a medical procedure. |

A method is provided, comprising: obtaining first patient image data of a patient's body; determining a registration instruction indicative of where to acquire a registration point relative to a surface of the body; obtaining second patient image data of the body, having been acquired by an augmented reality, AR, device; determining a transformation between coordinate systems of the first and the second patient image data; and based on the transformation, triggering display of the registration instruction on a display of the AR device such that a user of the AR device is presented an augmented view with the registration instruction being overlaid onto the patient's body, the augmented view guiding the user where to acquire the registration point. Also disclosed are a computing system, a surgical navigation system, and a computer program product. |

A method for multi-link wireless transmission of medical images includes establishing a wireless communication connection between a medical data source and a medical data sink, the wireless communication connection comprising a first wireless communication link and a second wireless communication link; transmitting the medical images from the medical data source to the medical data sink via the wireless communication connection, wherein the medical images are transmitted via the first wireless communication link and the second wireless communication link; determining data loss over the first wireless communication link; and reconstructing at least one of the medical images using data transmitted via the second wireless communication link to correct for the data loss over the first wireless communication link. |

In some aspects, the operating room may be configured with a controller device located outside of or in a hard-to-access location within the operating room. Having the ability to remotely power on a controller device may reduce/eliminate the need to have a medical operator leave the operating room and/or have an IT operator/on-site specialist power on the controller device. The medical display device may not receive one or more signals (e.g., video signals, image signals) from the controller device when the controller device is off or in standby mode. In response, the medical display device may provide an input element on its touch screen, and a medical operator may touch the input element to remotely power on the controller device. |

The computer program product having instructions stored on non-transitory computerreadable medium and, when executed by one or more processors, causing the one or more processors to: receive signals from the one or more devices, wherein the signals are directed to at least a surgical site of a patient; provide the signals to a trained machine-learning model trained on signals representative of nominal and adverse medical events; determining based on the signals, with the trained machine-learning model, the non-compliant use of the equipment in a manner to produce a potential adverse medical event; and cause a notification or alarm to be displayed on the display based on the determination of the non-compliant use. |
