Zusammenfassung
The present teaching provides a straddled vehicle including a compact and lightweight high-voltage hybrid system. The straddled vehicle includes an engine, a drive wheel, a high-voltage power supply system, a first permanent magnet motor generator, a first MG control unit, and a first power transfer device electrically connected to the high-voltage power supply system without a secondary battery that is electrically connected to the high-voltage power supply system and functions at a high voltage. The first MG control unit uses, as power, the high voltage that is higher than a low voltage of a low-voltage battery to perform a field-weakening control on the first permanent magnet motor generator, which includes a rotor that rotates at the same speed as the engine of the straddled vehicle and in which the number of magnetic poles is greater than 2/3 the number of teeth, so that the level of voltage suppression that is achieved through the field-weakening control increases because of increased reactance resulting from a greater number of magnetic poles of the first permanent magnet motor generator, and so that a component of current for the field-weakening control is supplied to a winding by overcoming increased reactance at high rotation speeds of the engine of the straddled vehicle because of the field-weakening control using the high voltage as power. |

A straddled vehicle (1) includes an EGR cooler (20) which is configured to cause condensed water generated due to cooling of exhaust gas to be discharged through an exhaust-side port (21) and flow toward an exhaust path (12). At least part of the EGR cooler is integrally formed with a cylinder portion (3). A first bolt (33a) is one of bolts (33) used for connecting two frame portions (31) provided at a right portion and a left portion of the straddled vehicle with the cylinder portion, and has a central axial line (Cb) extending along a vehicle left-right direction. On a first cross section (X1a to X1p) which passes through the central axial line (Cb) and is parallel to the central axial line (Cb), at least part of the EGR cooler is provided between two flat planes (SF 1 and SF2) which (i) respectively pass through the left end and the right end on the first cross section of a first screw fastening structure (35) formed of the first bolt and a first screw hole (34) into which the first bolt is inserted and (ii) are orthogonal to the central axial line (Cb). |

(ii) On the first cross section CS, at least part of the EGR cooler 51 is directly above a protrusion 63 or a protrusion 64 of the engine 10, which covers at least part of a generator 61 or a clutch 62. (iii) On the first cross section CS, between a right surface 51b or a left surface 5 la of the EGR cooler 51 and part of the left surface 10b or the right surface 10a of the engine 10, a gap 71 or a gap 73 allowing an airflow to pass through is provided, and/or, between a bottom surface 51d of the EGR cooler 51 and the protrusion 63 or the protrusion 64, a gap 72 or a gap 74 is provided to allow an airflow to pass through. The first cross section CS is parallel to the central axial line Cy of a cylinder hole 15, parallel to or oblique to a vehicle up-down direction, and parallel to a vehicle left-right direction. |

There is disclosed a fuel adjustment device, including an ECU (10) and a catalyst (53) downstream oxygen sensor (SE4); ECU (10) controlling a fuel injection device (61) that causes an engine (5) to work; the catalyst downstream oxygen sensor (SE4) being provided downstream of a three-way catalyst (53) in an exhaust system attached to engine (5) and detects an oxygen concentration of an exhaust gas; ECU (10) adjusting a fuel supply amount such that an engine rotation speed decreases when the engine rotation speed reaches a first rotation speed (rs1); the first rotation speed (ra1) being the rotation speed corresponding to overspeeding; when the engine rotation speed decreases and reaches a second rotation speed (rs2), an amount of fuel being supplied to engine (5) is changed back to a normal amount; thereafter, when the engine rotation speed is continuously maintained in a monitoring range, the fuel supply amount being adjusted based on a detection result of the catalyst downstream oxygen sensor (SE4); the monitoring range is a range that includes the second rotation speed (rs2) and is lower than the first rotation speed (rs1). |

The waterproof cap (200) includes a fitting protrusion (250) that fits in the groove part (74K) when the waterproof cap is closed. |
