Über die Kanzlei
Fleuchaus & Gallo wurde 1967 in München gegründet und blickt damit auf mehr als fünfzig Jahre Erfahrung im gewerblichen Rechtsschutz zurück. Die Kanzlei versteht sich als spezialisierte Boutique mit generalistischem Denken und arbeitet eng mit ihren Mandanten zusammen, von der Patentanmeldung bis zur Vertretung vor dem Einheitlichen Patentgericht. Neben Patenten und Gebrauchsmustern gehören Marken, Designs und die Durchsetzung von Schutzrechten zum Angebot, mit besonderem Augenmerk auf computerimplementierte Erfindungen und Medizintechnik. Zusammenfassung
Computer-implemented method, computer program product and computing system (100) are provided for improving an NMR measurement result obtained by an NMR spectrometer (200) for a sample (240). A magnetic field map (B0ma) for the actual main magnetic field (B0) of the NMR spectrometer including the sample is obtained as a function of spatial location in the sample with measurement points being taken at z-intervals. A time domain NMR measurement (TDM) of the sample is received. A value of a correction function (CFf1) for the NMR measurement is computed in the frequency domain, based on the received magnetic field map, for each of a plurality of predefined frequency intervals covering a frequency range with B0 deviations, as the total length of z-intervals with frequency values in the respective frequency interval. The correction function is transformed into the time domain. The time domain NMR measurement is divided by the transformed correction function (CFt1) to obtain a corrected time domain NMR measurement curve (TDMc) and the corrected time domain NMR measurement curve is transformed into the frequency domain to obtain an NMR spectrum (S1) of the sample with symmetrized peaks and overlapping peaks being resolved. |

The method comprises combining a nuclear fuel feedstock (102) comprising thorium and uranium with a first acid (104, 204) to form a first solution. The first solution is contacted an ion exchange resin (308) that is selective for thorium or uranium. The thorium or uranium is at least partially removed from the first solution by binding the thorium or uranium to the ion exchange resin (308) thereby forming a second solution (106, 206). The second solution (106, 206) is combined with oxalic acid to precipitate uranium or thorium from the second solution to form a precipitate (110, 210). Disclosed herein are systems and methods for determining a likelihood of a vehicle tow. An example of one such method involves operating at least one processor to: receive telematics data originating from a plurality of telematics devices installed in a plurality of vehicles; identify, using the telematics data, a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) cycle experienced by one or more of the plurality of vehicles, the DTC cycle corresponding to a reporting of a DTC during a plurality of vehicle ignition cycles; determine, for each vehicle that experienced the DTC cycle, whether a tow event occurred; determine, for each vehicle for which the tow event occurred, a vehicle downtime associated with the tow event; determine whether a termination of the DTC cycle is associated with the tow event based at least in part on when the reporting of the DTC terminates relative to the vehicle downtime; and determine the likelihood of a vehicle tow for the DTC based at least in part on a number of vehicles for which the termination of the DTC cycle is associated with the tow event. |

Zusammenfassung
Disclosed are systems and methods for assessing driving risk in the field of vehicle telematics. The disclosed technology addresses the challenge of evaluating risk from raw, irregularly sampled telematics time series. The system comprises at least one data storage for telematics data and at least one processor operable to determine velocity vectors, longitudinal acceleration, and lateral acceleration from geospatial data, identify trip subintervals with non-zero speed events, and detect anomalous trip events using a stochastic model, such as a continuous-time hidden Markov model. The processor flags events exceeding a threshold as anomalous. A trip risk score is calculated based on the proportion of anomalous events. Principal uses include insurance premium adjustment, fleet management, and driver coaching. The disclosed technology further encompasses processes and non-transitory computer-readable media for implementing these functionalities. |

The particular spectral distribution (310) of light (210) is encoded to a spectral distribution identifier (250/270). The light (210) is separately filtered by a set of filters (120-n), that together comply with uniqueness conditions. The filtered light (220-n) is measured (130) to obtain a provisional intensity vector ({B}, 230-n). To compensate for variations, computing functions (140, 150, 160, 170) use an intensity reference value (L_DATA) to accommodate light variations and use pre-determined calibration data ({CAL}) to accommodate filter variations. The computing functions thereby turn the provisional intensity vector to the spectral distribution identifier (250/270). Pre-determined calibration data ({CAL}) are obtained from a neural network that operates with simulated data. |

Computer system (100) and computer-implemented method are provided for automated generation of manufacturing-machine control data (291) for the manufacturing of an orthodontic appliance (280) for a patient (2). Based on three-dimensional representations (210) of the patient's oral anatomy and an appliance type (211) of the orthodontic appliance, the system generates a control structure (111) comprising a mesh providing an initial representation (111pi) of an aimed appliance geometry, and subdivision manifold-related shape attribute information (Ills) with a subdivision scheme, implicit manifold-related shape attribute information (111i) with a scalar field, and information for evaluating a respective position of the respective vertex. Executing a subdivision according to the subdivision scheme generates a modified control structure (111m). For added vertices, respective shape attribute information is evaluated to obtain the position of the respective vertices. Once a final mesh is obtained, it is transformed into manufacturing-machine control data for the manufacturing of the orthodontic appliance, and provided to corresponding manufacturing means (290). |
