A clamp assembly (10, 100) includes an elongated body portion (21), a primary clamp jaw (16a) coupled to the body portion (21), and a secondary clamp jaw (16b, 104) that includes a base portion (106) having a portion pivotably coupled to the body portion (21) such that the secondary clamp jaw (16b, 104) is pivotable between a first position and a second position. The secondary clamp jaw (16b, 104) includes a first flexible member (122a) and a second flexible member (122b), with a proximal end of the first and second flexible members (122a, 122b) coupled to corresponding portions of the base portion (106). The secondary clamp jaw (16b, 104) also includes an elongated first clamp arm (112a) and second clamp arm (112b) that each extends from a distal end of the first and second flexible members (122a, 122b), respectively, such that a distal end of the first and second clamp arms (112a, 112b) is configured to displace relative to the corresponding portions of the base portion (106).

A hermetically-sealed electrical device includes a housing and a header assembly. The header assembly includes a cover having a contact aperture and a contact terminal extending through the cover via the contact aperture. An insulating member insulates the contact terminal from the cover. An angled flange couples the insulating member to the cover. The cover may be coupled to the housing to form a hermetically sealed volume.

A contactor device includes a movable contact configured to selectively open/close an electrical circuit. The movable contact is coupled to a shaft, and the shaft is retained by a latch in the closed position. A movable member is biased away from the latch. During an event, the biasing force biasing the movable member away from the latch is overcome. The movable member causes the latch to disengage the shaft, allowing the shaft to move to an open position. In examples, the movable member is disposed over an opening in a housing of the contactor device.

A cardiac retractor (20, 152) is disclosed. The cardiac retractor (20, 152) has an outer tube (24, 162). The cardiac retractor (20, 152) also has a fixed collar (22, 165, 198) fixedly coupled to a proximal end (306) of the outer tube (24, 162). The cardiac retractor (20, 152) further has a fixed link (26) fixedly coupled to a distal end (160) of the outer tube (24, 162). The cardiac retractor (20, 152) also has an inner tube (98) rotatable within the outer tube (24, 162). The cardiac retractor (20, 152) further has a fixed key (118, 200) coupled to a proximal end (160) of the inner tube (98) and configured to rotate the inner tube (98) relative to the outer tube (24, 162). The cardiac retractor (20, 152) also has a keyed link (30) coupled to the distal end (160) of the outer tube (24, 162).

A beam writing system comprises a first platform operable to translate in x and y directions and a second platform operable to rotate about a perpendicular axis, wherein the substrate (40, 70, 90, 220) is coupled to the beam writing system.

A scope clutch assembly (10) includes a clutch member (14) having a hub portion (26), and a plurality of elongated distal engagement members (42) extend from a distal end of the hub portion (26). The clutch member (14) also includes a plurality of elongated proximal engagement members (142) that extend from a proximal end of the hub portion (26). Each of the distal engagement members (42) and the proximal engagement members (142) have portions that are configured to selectively engage corresponding portions of an exterior surface of a scope (66) that is inserted through an interior portion of the clutch member (14) to prevent the scope (66) from displacing relative to the clutch member (14) and/or to prevent/limit movement of the scope (66) relative to the clutch member (14). An adjustment member (12) displacably coupled to the clutch member (14) controls the degree of engagement between the portions of the proximal engagement members (142) engaging corresponding portions of the exterior surface of the scope (66).
