Octrooibureau Los & Stigter wurde 1910 in Amsterdam gegründet, im selben Jahr, in dem das niederländische Patentgesetz (Rijksoctrooiwet) in Kraft trat, und ist bis heute in seinem ursprünglichen Gebäude an der Weteringschans ansässig. Neben dem Hauptsitz in Amsterdam unterhält die Kanzlei Niederlassungen im Raum Utrecht und Eindhoven.
