The subject of the invention is an element (2) for protecting a motorcyclist in the event of a collision with the upper edge of a steel safety barrier (SSB) guardrail (1a).The element (2) for protecting a motorcyclist, adapted for installation on a SSB guardrail (1a), is designed as a repeatedly bent element (2) made of galvanized steel sheet with 0.5 mm minimum thickness and a shape that includes: - a first part (21) with a shape adapted to match the shape of the upper convex part of the SSB guardrail (1a), - an inclined second part (22), which continues obliquely from the upper part of the first part(21), with the length adapted to reach over the vertical supporting posts (1c) of the SSB, - the third part (23), which is rounded and curved downwards for additional protection of a motorcyclist in the event of a fall, as it covers any possible protruding or sharp parts of the SSB, with the radius of curvature between 10 and 100 mm. |

Zusammenfassung
The present invention relates to devices and methods for the characterization of non-equilibrium gaseous plasma sustained in molecular gases. The methods enable simultaneous measurements of the density of both positively charged ions and molecular radicals. The sensor for a device that simultaneously measures the density of charged particles and molecular fragments in a non-equilibrium gaseous plasma or its afterglow comprises an optical fiber with at least two temperature-sensing segments exhibiting different coefficients for the surface association of neutral molecular radicals to form stable molecules. At least one temperature-sensing segment is covered or in contact with a material that exhibits a high coefficient for a surface association of atoms to parent molecules, and at least one sensing segment is not covered or in contact with any material that exhibits a high coefficient for a surface association of atoms to parent molecules. The measured difference in temperatures of at least two temperature-sensing segments is then correlated to the density/flux of charged particles and molecular fragments, and thus the density in the vicinity of the sensor. |

Zusammenfassung
The present invention belongs to the field of avalanche equipment, more precisely to the field of shovels for removing snow in avalanche rescues or similar situations. The invention relates to a blade, a shaft and a handle for a carbon avalanche shovel, as well as to the carbon avalanche shovel comprising the blade and/or the shaft and/or the handle. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing said blade, shaft, handle and shovel. The invention is characterized by the fact that all these components are made from or comprise carbon fibers. The invention successfully solves the problem of decreasing the weight of avalanche shovels while maintaining UIAA certification standards. It achieves a weight of approximately 300 g, making it 24% lighter than the lightest currently available UlAA-certified aluminum shovels. |

The present invention belongs to the field of forestry winches, more specifically to the field of structural elements for pulling loads. The invention relates to a forestry winch comprising chain drive and an assembly for regulating traction force of the forestry winch.The forestry winch is equipped with an assembly for regulating the traction force of the forestry winch, which comprises a pushing cylinder of a clutch that presses on the clutch or a sprocket, respectively, that presses on the clutch lamellae to transmit the torque. The essence of the invention is that the pressure in the pushing cylinder is adjusted depending on the amount of rope wound on the drum (1). In case more wire rope is wound on the drum (1), the pressure in the pushing cylinder is higher. Consequently, the pushing cylinder will press harder on the sprocket, which is driven by the chain, the sprocket will then press on the lamellae between the sprocket and the drum (1) and thus transmit torque. When the diameter decreases as the rope unwinds from the drum (1), the pressure in the pushing cylinder decreases. |

Zusammenfassung
The invention relates to a method and a device adapted for the selective counting of individual respiratory droplets and particles comprising water within ambient air. The method is based on a planar capacitive sensor to which droplets and particles are led with a nozzle, which increases their velocity. Entering the electric field of the capacitive sensor, the respiratory droplets and particles change the sensor's capacitance. Because the respiratory droplets and particles containing water exhibit a notably distinct dielectric constant compared to other airborne particles and the air itself, they are counted in a selective way independently on other particulate matter air pollutants. The alteration in the capacitance is converted into an electrical signal, which is measured by known methods. |

The invention relates to a crane (1) with improved guidance of flexible hose (12) from the pillar (3) to the first arm (4) of the crane (1) and a forestry vehicle comprising said crane. The pillar (3) of the crane is rotatably mounted on the base frame (2) and the first arm (4) is movably mounted on the pillar via the joint (8). At least one flexible hose (12) connects a connection point (13) on the pillar (3) or the base frame (2) to the end of the first arm (4), where the at least one flexible hose (12) exits. Due to the movable mounting of the arm (4) the distance between the connection point (13) and the exit from the first arm (4) changes, which leads to coiling of the flexible hose (12) inside the arm (4). To prevent this, the first arm (4) is further provided with: - an opening (20) on the back part (43) of the first arm (4) immediately adjacent to the first joint (8) to allow entering of the at least one flexible hose (12) into the interior of the arm (4), - a movably mounted clamp (23) installed in the bottom part (42) of the arm (4) and arranged to compress at least one flexible hose (12) against the bottom part (42) of the arm (4), where a sliding surface (24) is provided to prevent slipping of the flexible hose (12), - two supporting rollers (21, 22), wherein at each side of the said opening (20) one supporting roller (21, 22) is installed, which allows the at least one flexible hose (12) to roll or at least touch the roller (21, 22), and - at least one sliding surface (16, 17) from a thin material joined or glued on the inner surface of the upper part (41) of the arm (4), which allows sliding of the at least one flexible hose (12). |
