The present invention relates to combinations, pharmaceutical compositions and fusion molecules comprising an FGF21 (fibroblast growth factor 21) compound and a GLP-1R (glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor) agonist with optimized GLP-1R agonist / FGF21 compound activity ratio. It further relates to their use as medicaments, in particular for the treatment of obesity, being overweight, metabolic syndrome, diabetes mellitus, diabetic retinopathy, hyperglycemia, dyslipidemia, Non-Alcoholic SteatoHepatitis (NASH) and/or atherosclerosis.

The present invention provides a VWF fragment comprising the D' domain and D3 domain of VWF, a chimeric protein comprising the VWF fragment and a heterologous moiety, or a chimeric protein comprising the VWF fragment and a FVIII protein and methods of using the same. Optical amplifiers, laser devices, and methods of forming such devices are disclosed. One such method includes forming a lower cladding layer on a substrate and forming a doped ceramic layer on the lower cladding layer. The forming of the doped ceramic layer uses a plasma-assisted process that deposits and co-dopes a ceramic material with rare-earth dopants. The GRM may be a nonsteroidal GRM, and may be a nonsteroidal SGRM. The non-ACTH-secreting pancreatic tumor may be an exocrine pancreatic tumor. The nonsteroidal SGRM may be a nonsteroidal compound comprising: a fused azadecalin structure; a heteroaryl ketone fused azadecalin structure; or an octahydro fused azadecalin structure. Pharmaceutical compositions comprising a chemotherapeutic agent and a GRM are disclosed. The GRM in such pharmaceutical compositions may be a nonsteroidal GRM, and may be a SGRM, such as a nonsteroidal SGRM.
