Zusammenfassung
A system for predicting elution times for targeted mass spectrometry determines elution times for a first set of analytes eluting from a separation system. The system accesses metadata associated with analytes included in a second set of analytes, the second set of analytes including at least one analyte not included in the first set of analytes. The system predicts, based on the metadata associated with the analytes included in the second set of analytes and the elution times for the first set of analytes, elution times for the second set of analytes. The system sets, based on the predicted elution times for the second set of analytes, a targeted acquisition schedule for the second set of analytes. The system directs a mass spectrometer to acquire, based on the targeted acquisition schedule, mass spectra of product ions derived from the second set of analytes. |

Zusammenfassung
Described herein is a robotic laser ablation system that comprises a robot and processing circuitry. The robot has an end effector with laser componentry and a camera mounted thereto. Processing circuitry is configured, in response to stored instructions, to perform operations including: receiving the input image of a workpiece from the camera; segmenting the input image to produce an image segment that depicts at least a portion of the workpiece; applying a surface-fitting algorithm to generate a polynomial surface that is fit to the surface in the image segment; computing a set of surface normal vectors across the polynomial surface to generate a set of waypoints offset from the polynomial surface by an offset length; programmatically generating a motion path linking a plurality of the waypoints; and performing laser ablation of the surface of the portion of the workpiece based on the motion path. |

Systems and methods for analyzing particles flowing in a channel are described. In an embodiment, the channel is configured to flow a particle through a lumen of the channel, the channel defining an interrogation window configured to allow light to pass into and out of the lumen; a light engine comprising: a first light source positioned to output first excitation light onto a first portion of the channel in the interrogation window; and a second light source positioned to output second excitation light onto a second portion of the channel in the interrogation window separate from the first portion. In an embodiment, the systems include an emission fiber bundle comprising a first emission optical fiber and a second emission optical fiber, wherein a proximal end of first emission optical fiber and second emission optical fiber are arranged in an emission fiber bundle head. |
