The frame sending method includes: obtaining a drawing instruction for a first frame image and a drawing instruction for a second frame image, drawing the first frame image in a first buffer based on the drawing instruction for the first frame image, and sending the frame for displaying; drawing the second frame image in the first buffer based on the drawing instruction for the second frame image; and When detecting that a drawing load feature meets a preset condition or detecting a clear instruction for the first buffer, sending a frame sending instruction for the second frame image. The first frame image and the second frame image are sent separately, so that this frame sending process is more consistent with an existing frame sending policy of a GPU. This increases a frequency of the GPU in a timely manner and reduces a processing time for each frame sending task, thereby reducing a waiting time of a buffer needed when the second frame image is sent, and resolving a buffer blocking problem in the frame sending process. Therefore, a frame rate can meet expectations after frame interpolation, and user experience is improved.

Different manners of calculating duration of a new video may be set for different adjustment strategies. After the duration of the new video is obtained, duration of each segment in the video is updated based on a difference between the duration of the new video and duration of an original video, so that the duration of the original video is adjusted to obtain the new video. By using this method, efficiency of adjusting duration of a video can be improved, and user experience can be improved.
