Disclosed are object detection method, display methods and apparatuses. The method includes obtaining slice data of inspected luggage in the CT system; generating 3D volume data of objects in the luggage from the slice data; for each object, determining a semantic description including at least a quantifier description of the object based on the 3D volume data; and upon reception of a user selection of an object, presenting the semantic description of the selected object while displaying a 3D image of the object. The above solutions can create a 3D model for objects in the inspected luggage in a relatively accurate manner, and thus provide better basis for subsequent shape feature extraction and security inspection, and reduce omission factor. |

The method includes: acquiring (S110) a scanned packet image of a packet when the packet enters a security machine; performing (S120) risk analysis on the scanned packet image to assess an image risk degree of the scanned packet image; evaluating (S130) an image interpretation level for security inspectors of an image interpretation workstation; and assigning (S140), based on a preset strategy, the scanned packet image to a corresponding image interpretation workstation according to the image risk degree and the image interpretation level. According to the disclosure, overall quality and efficiency of image interpretation can be improved. |

A method and system for liquid detection are disclosed. The method for liquid detection according to embodiments of the invention includes: performing CT scanning and XRD scanning on a liquid substance simultaneously to obtain CT data and XRD energy spectrum data of the liquid substance (S102); extracting a molecular interference function of the liquid substance based on the CT data and the XRD energy spectrum data of the liquid substance (S104); and identifying the liquid substance by using the molecular interference function and the CT data of the liquid substance (S106). The method and system for liquid detection according to embodiments of the invention may obtain the molecular interference function with a higher signal-to-noise ratio and a larger effective range of the liquid substance and thus identify a wider range of liquid substances. |

A CT system for security check and a method thereof are provided. The method includes: reading inspection data of an inspected object; inserting at least one three-dimensional (3D) Fictional Threat Image (FTI) into a 3D inspection image of the inspected object, which is obtained from the inspection data; receiving a selection of at least one region in the 3D inspection image including the 3D FTI or at least one region in a two-dimensional (2D) inspection image including a 2D FTI corresponding to the 3D FTI, wherein the 2D inspection image is obtained from the 3D inspection image or is obtained from the inspection data; and providing a feedback of the 3D inspection image including at least one 3D FTI in response to the selection. With the above solution, it is convenient for a user to rapidly mark a suspected object in the CT image, and provides a feedback of whether a FTI is included. |

It comprises following steps of: scanning and reconstructing objects to be detected so as to obtain three-dimensional data for recognition of the objects to be detected; extracting data matching to features from the three-dimensional data, so that the extracted data constitute an interested target; with respect to the data matching to features, merging and classifying adjacent data points as one group, to form an image of the merged interested target; recognizing a cross section of the interested target; cutting the interested targets by at least one perpendicular plane which passes through a central point of the cross section and is perpendicular to it, in order to obtain a graph; and recognizing shape of the interested targets based on property of the graph. |
