The method includes: sending, by a first device, capability information of the first device to a second device, where the capability information is associated with one or more of: model training; model compilation; and model deployment. In the embodiments of the present disclosure, the first device may send model-related capability information to the second device to indicate the capability information of the first device. Compared with conventional solutions in which the first device and the second device are unable to obtain capability information of each other, this helps the second device obtain the capability information of the first device, so as to select tasks matching the capability information (for example, a model training task, a model update task, a task of fine-tuning model parameters, a model deployment task, a model compilation task, or the like) to be performed by the first device, thereby improving the possibility of model-based communication between the first device and the second device. |

In this case, the candidate filtering models can be obtained through different combinations of reference regions and filters, so types of filtering models are expanded. Then, the candidate filtering models are ordered to obtain the filtering-model-candidate list, and the target filtering model is determined from the filtering-model-candidate list for intra prediction. In this way, intra prediction accuracy and coding performance can be improved. |
