A compressor is provided that includes a compressor housing (102) with a discharge chamber (104) and an intermediate-pressure chamber (106), first and second lubricant sumps (110,112), a suction inlet (114), a discharge outlet (118E), a compression mechanism (120), an intermediate injection port (124), a lubricant passage (150), and a lubricant sump valve (152). The first lubricant sump (110) is disposed in the discharge chamber (104). The second lubricant sump (112) is disposed in the intermediate-pressure chamber (106). The compression mechanism (120) suctions a working fluid from the suction inlet (114) and discharges the working fluid into the discharge chamber (118E). The intermediate injection port (124) is fluidly connected to the intermediate-pressure chamber (106). The lubricant supply passage (150) connects the discharge chamber (104) and the intermediate-pressure chamber (106). The lubricant sump valve (152) controls a flow of lubricant through the lubricant supply passage (150) from first lubricant sump (110) to the second lubricant sump (112). The lubricant in the second lubricant sump (112) is supplied to at least the compression mechanism (120). |

A method is provided for preventing an arc-flash event while an electrically powered accessory disposed on a transport unit is connected to an electrical power source. The method includes obtaining movement data indicating whether the transport unit is moving, and obtaining electrical power data indicating whether the electrically powered accessory is receiving electrical power from the electrical power source. The method also includes determining that the transport unit is moving, and determining that the electrically powered accessory is connected to the electrical power source. Also, the method includes deenergizing a connection that supplies power from the electrical power source to one or more loads of the electrically powered accessory upon detecting both that the transport unit is moving and that the electrically powered accessory is connected to the electrical power source. |

A working fluid circuit includes a compressor (10), an oil sump (56), and an oil injection system. The compressor compresses working fluid into a compressed working fluid. The oil injection system has an oil pathway that is connected to the oil sump and to a suction pathway of the compressor. The oil pathway injects the oil from the oil sump into the suction pathway to cool the working fluid in the suction pathway. A method of controlling a working fluid circuit includes suctioning working fluid into a compressor, compressing the working fluid, and discharging the working fluid from the compressor. The method also includes separating oil from the working fluid and supplying and injecting, via an oil pathway, the oil into a suction pathway of the compressor. Gaseous refrigerant dissolved in the oil is liberated from the oil to provide cooling to the working fluid in the suction pathway. |
