Zusammenfassung
There is provided an active controlled atmosphere (CA) system for a transport container. The transport container includes a cargo storage space. The CA system comprises: a gas concentration sensor, a nitrogen source including an outlet configured for the introduction of nitrogen-containing gas into the cargo storage space, a fan operable to circulate the gas around the cargo storage space, and a controller. The controller is configured to operate the CA system in each of a first mode and a second mode, wherein, in both the first mode and the second mode the nitrogen source is operated to introduce nitrogen-containing gas through the outlet, and wherein, in the first mode, the fan is deactivated and, in the second mode, the fan is activated. The gas concentration sensor is positioned so that: in the first mode, nitrogen-containing gas that has been introduced through the outlet passes over the sensor so that the sensor provides a signal indicative of a concentration of a first gas introduced through the outlet; and, in the second mode, nitrogen-containing gas that has been introduced through the outlet is displaced away from the sensor by the fan so that the sensor is configured to provide a signal indicative of the concentration of the first gas in an ambient environment of the cargo storage space. |

Zusammenfassung
A method is provided for preventing an arc-flash event while an electrically powered accessory disposed on a transport unit is connected to an electrical power source. The method includes obtaining movement data indicating whether the transport unit is moving, and obtaining electrical power data indicating whether the electrically powered accessory is receiving electrical power from the electrical power source. The method also includes determining that the transport unit is moving, and determining that the electrically powered accessory is connected to the electrical power source. Also, the method includes deenergizing a connection that supplies power from the electrical power source to one or more loads of the electrically powered accessory upon detecting both that the transport unit is moving and that the electrically powered accessory is connected to the electrical power source. |

A compressor is provided that includes a compressor housing (102) with a discharge chamber (104) and an intermediate-pressure chamber (106), first and second lubricant sumps (110,112), a suction inlet (114), a discharge outlet (118E), a compression mechanism (120), an intermediate injection port (124), a lubricant passage (150), and a lubricant sump valve (152). The first lubricant sump (110) is disposed in the discharge chamber (104). The second lubricant sump (112) is disposed in the intermediate-pressure chamber (106). The compression mechanism (120) suctions a working fluid from the suction inlet (114) and discharges the working fluid into the discharge chamber (118E). The intermediate injection port (124) is fluidly connected to the intermediate-pressure chamber (106). The lubricant supply passage (150) connects the discharge chamber (104) and the intermediate-pressure chamber (106). The lubricant sump valve (152) controls a flow of lubricant through the lubricant supply passage (150) from first lubricant sump (110) to the second lubricant sump (112). The lubricant in the second lubricant sump (112) is supplied to at least the compression mechanism (120). |

Zusammenfassung
There is disclosed a power network for a transport climate control system, comprising: a DC bus configured to provide power from a plurality of power sources to a load, including one or more autonomous power sources; one or more autonomous control modules, each associated with a respective one of the autonomous power sources; and a primary control module configured to determine a resource demand value for the power network by monitoring power delivery to the load. The resource demand value varies as a quantitative variable, and each autonomous control module receives the resource demand value and determines whether to cause power delivery from the respective autonomous power source to the DC bus based on the resource demand value and a corresponding resource availability function associated with the respective power source |

Zusammenfassung
There is described a refrigeration system 10, the refrigeration system 10 comprising an induction motor 18 having a rotor 23, wherein the refrigeration system 10 is configured to: supply 102 an alternating current to the induction motor 18 to induce rotation of the rotor 23, wherein rotation of the rotor 23 powers one or more loads 20, 21 of the refrigeration system 10; identify 104 a predetermined threshold value Rt1 of a parameter R of the induction motor 18 and a predetermined relationship associated with the induction motor 18 between the parameter R and a derating amount P1, the parameter R being an angular velocity or a slip of the rotor 23 of the induction motor 18; determine 106 the parameter R of the rotor 23 during rotation of the rotor 23; determine 108 whether the determined parameter R meets a first condition, the first condition being the angular velocity R being less than the predetermined threshold value Rt1 or the slip being greater than the predetermined threshold value Rt1; upon determining that the first condition has been met, determine 110 a derating amount P1 based on the determined parameter R and the predetermined relationship; and derate 112 the one or more loads 20, 21 by the derating amount P1. There is also described a method 100, 200, 300, 400, 500 of operating a refrigeration system. |
