A single acting actuator (1) for an aircraft landing gear assembly having a piston (3) mounted in a cavity (60) and moveable relative to a housing (2) between a retracted position and an extended position, the piston dividing the cavity into first and second pressure chambers (5a, 5b). At least one of the pressure chambers is associated with first and second outlets (8a, 9a, 8b, 9b), with the actuator being arranged such that, in respect of the relative movement in which the pressure chamber is the decreasing volume pressure chamber, in a first stage of the relative movement the first and second outlets are open thereby allowing actuator fluid to flow out of the pressure chamber through the first and second outlets and in a second stage of the relative movement the second outlet is open but the first outlet is closed, thereby acting to slow the relative movement of the piston with respect to the housing. |

A composite stiffener for a stiffener reinforced panel. The stiffener has a longitudinal direction and a run-out region which terminates at an end of the stiffener. The stiffener also has a constant section region inboard of the run-out region in the longitudinal direction and having a constant cross section transverse to the longitudinal direction with a crown between adjacent foot portions. The run-out region has a changing cross section transverse to the longitudinal direction with a crown between adjacent foot portions and the crown reduces in height towards the end of the stiffener forming a ramp. The composite stiffener comprises a number of blankets of non-crimp fabric layers. |

Es wird ein Schienensystem zur Installation von Gegenständen in einer Kabine eines Fahrzeugs vorgeschlagen, aufweisend eine Basisschiene, eine Installationsschiene, und Verbindungsvorrichtungen zum Verbinden der Basisschiene und der Installationsschiene in einer zueinander parallelen Ausrichtung miteinander, wobei die Basisschiene eine Unterseite mit einem Befestigungsabschnitt zum Befestigen der Basisschiene an einem Strukturbauteil des Fahrzeugs, sowie eine Oberseite aufweist, wobei die Installationsschiene eine Installationsfläche aufweist, auf der die Gegenstände aufsetzbar und mit der Installationsschiene verbindbar sind, und wobei das Schienensystem dazu ausgebildet ist, die Installationsfläche in einem vorbestimmten Abstand von der Oberseite zu platzieren, sodass mindestens ein lateraler Zwischenraum zwischen der Installationsschiene und der Basisschiene zum formschlüssigen Halten eines Fußbodenpaneels gebildet ist. |
