This invention pertains to a curable composition comprises at least one monomer having at least one (meth)acrylate end group, selected from the group consisting of (meth)acrylate esters of alcohols having at least seven consecutive carbon atoms, and alkoxylated derivatives thereof; optionally, a (meth)acrylate oligomer in an amount of at least 1 wt% and at most 40 wt% based on the weight of the composition other than E) the filler; at least one non-reactive diluent in an amount of at least about 5 wt% and at most 40 wt% based on the weight of the composition other than E) the filler; a free radical photoinitiator; and at least one filler in an amount of at least 30 vol% based on the total volume of the curable composition. This composition is suitable for use in the fabrication of articles, such as ceramic articles, including industrial, consumer and medical products and molds used for casting and thermoforming articles. This invention is also directed to a method for making an article comprises curing the composition then sintering it. |
