An image forming apparatus includes a plurality of units, a control portion and a switching portion. The plurality of units share in executing part or all of an image forming process. The control portion accesses a non-volatile storage portion provided in each of the units. The switching portion switches a connection target connected to the control portion via one communication line between the plurality of storage portions corresponding to the plurality of units.

An inkjet recording apparatus (9) includes a recording head (7) and an ink circulation portion (8) including an ink storage container (100). The ink storage container (100) includes a main body portion (1), a lid portion (2), an ink inflow port (3), an ink outflow port (4), and a bubble discharge port (5). The ink circulation portion (8) includes a plurality of ink storage containers (100) for one recording head (7). The recording head (7) has a plurality of ink feed ports (70). The plurality of ink feed ports (70) are connected respectively to the ink outflow ports (4) of the corresponding ink storage containers (100) and feeds the ink flowing out through the ink outflow ports (4) of the corresponding ink storage containers (100) to the recording head (7).

A paper alignment apparatus (100) according to an embodiment of the present disclosure is a paper alignment apparatus for adjusting a paper skew, including an alignment plate (24) arranged parallel to a paper feed direction and a width guide mechanism (40) for pushing paper against the alignment plate. The paper includes thin paper or thick paper. The width guide mechanism includes paper rollers (43) in contact with the paper, a first width guide spring (45) for applying a load to the thin paper or the thick paper, and a second width guide spring (46) for applying a load to the thick paper. The first width guide spring applies a load to the paper when the paper rollers are pressed by the paper. The second width guide spring applies a load to the paper when an amount of movement of the paper rollers pressed by the paper is greater than or equal to a first threshold.

A toner includes a toner particle. The toner particle includes a toner core (2a). The toner core (2a) contains a binding resin, a magnetic particle and a carbon nanotube. The content of the magnetic particle in the toner core (2a) is equal to or greater than 30.0% by mass and equal to or less than 50.0% by mass, and the content of the carbon nanotube in the toner core (2a) is equal to or greater than 0.10% by mass and equal to or less than 1.00% by mass.

A unit support mechanism is capable of adjusting a unit distance which is a distance between a conveying path and a contact image sensor unit. A filter processing device executes sharpening filter processing on read image data. A control device causes, before a print job is executed, the unit support mechanism to execute an operation of adjusting the unit distance to a representative distance corresponding to representative sheet characteristics. The control device specifies, every time the sharpening filter processing is executed, a target parameter corresponding to a combination of target sheet characteristics and the representative distance from among a plurality of candidate parameters, and sets the target parameter in the filter processing device.

A charging unit charges a belt member in a non-contact manner by corona discharge. Each of a pair of end portion support members includes a unit support portion, a belt support portion, and an abutting portion. The unit support portion supports an end portion of a heater unit in a specific direction. The belt support portion is inserted into an end portion of the belt member in the specific direction, rotatably supports the end portion of the belt member, and guides a rotational trajectory of the end portion of the belt member. The abutting portion protrudes toward a side of the charging unit and abuts against an end portion of the charging unit in the specific direction to retain an interval between the belt support portion and the charging unit constant.

An image reading apparatus (2) includes an operation device (16), a communication device (22), and a controller (10). The operation device (16) allows a user's instruction to be input. The communication device (22) performs communications via a network with an information processing device. When accepting specification of a port number through the operation device (16), the controller (10) allows the communication device (22) to use a specified port corresponding to the specified port number to send to-be-sent data to a shared folder on the information processing device. Upon failure to establish a connection with the information processing device using the specified port, the controller (10) allows the communication device (22) to use another port different from the specified port to send the to-be-sent-data to the shared folder.

A fixing device (11) includes a cylindrical fixing belt (41), a heater (43), a pressure roller (25), a pair of holding members (47), and a separation guide (27). The fixing belt (41) has flexibility and is rotatably supported. The heater (43) heats the fixing belt (41). The pressure member (25) is rotatably supported and faces the heater (43) across the fixing belt (41) to form a pressurized region. The pair of holding members (47) hold both end portions of the fixing belt (41). The separation guide (27) separates the sheet passed through the pressurized region from the fixing belt (41). The separation guide (27) is positioned with respect to the pair of holding members (47) such that its tip faces the fixing belt (41) at a predetermined interval and is supported movably in a direction away from the fixing belt (41).

A gateway device is connected between a server device and at least one of one or more client devices for the server device and monitors the one or more client devices, the server device and the one or more client devices being connected to each other via a network, the gateway device including a control circuit that displays a GUI on a display device, the GUI displaying a troubleshooting button for starting troubleshooting of a target client device that is one of the client devices, and starts the troubleshooting of the target client device when the troubleshooting button is operated by a user.

A gateway device is connected between a server device and at least one of one or more client devices for the server device, the server device and the one or more client devices being connected to each other via a network, the gateway device including a control circuit that obtains device information from the one or more client devices at predetermined polling intervals, and displays on a display device a menu screen for displaying a smart polling button and displays, when the smart polling button is operated by a user, a smart polling screen for displaying the polling intervals individually set for the one or more client devices.
