The user device comprises means for storing at least one private key of a user of the user device and predefined auto-signing rules; receiving a blockchain transaction; decoding the blockchain transaction according to a blockchain transaction model to extract attributes of the blockchain transaction; submitting the decoded blockchain transaction to an auto-signing rules engine; evaluating the blockchain transaction by the auto-signing rules engine based on the auto-signing rules by comparing the attributes of the blockchain transaction and conditions of the auto-signing rules; and automatically deciding based on the evaluation and the auto-signing rules whether to automatically sign the blockchain transaction on behalf of the user using the at least one private key, to reject the blockchain transaction on behalf of the user, or to submit the blockchain transaction to the user to let the user decide on signing the blockchain transaction. |

A supervisory system for an optical communication network configured to support shared access to measurement sensors of multiple optical-network nodes. According to an example embodiment, two or more optical-network nodes can negotiate a shared measurement schedule to synchronize triggering events for the measurements performed at different ones of the nodes and configure at least one of the nodes to receive measurement results from the other nodes. One possible benefit of such shared access is an improved accuracy of the measurements involving two or more sensors located at different nodes due to the synchronicity imposed by the shared measurement schedule. Another possible benefit of such shared access is the ability to use the same flow of digital measurement samples generated by a sensor for two or more different monitoring tasks hosted by different optical-network nodes. |

Zusammenfassung
An optical sensing system for detecting fiber events along an optical cable under test (CUT) having forward and feedback fibers and multiple pairs of optical couplers interconnected along the forward and feedback fibers in a ladder topology. An optical transmitter generates an optical probing signal for a forward fiber, wherein the couplers along the forward fiber provide tapped portions of the probing signal to the couplers along a feedback fiber to form a combined optical feedback signal in the feedback fiber. A reference coupler is connected between the transmitter and the forward fiber to tap an optical reference signal from the probing signal, and a feedback coupler is connected to combine the reference signal and the feedback signal. An optical receiver receives and processes the combined reference and feedback signals from the feedback coupler to detect fiber events along the CUT. |
