MEANS FOR SOLVING: The simulation apparatus includes a processor configured to execute simulation of a control program executed on a controller, the controller being configured to control motion of a machine that handles an object. The processor includes: a motion control means configured to control, following to the control program, motion of a virtual machine based on a motion command to move the virtual machine in a virtual space, the virtual machine corresponding to the machine; a determination means configured to determine, based on model data of a virtual object and model data of the virtual machine, whether or not a volume of a region where a work space in which the virtual machine works overlaps with the virtual object is equal to or greater than a predetermined reference value, the virtual object being handled by the virtual machine and corresponding to the object; and a follow-up means configured to make the virtual object follow the motion of the virtual machine based on the motion command when the volume is equal to or greater than the reference value. |

The present invention provides a synchronization control apparatus capable of switching cam curves with ease and without delay. A cam curve storing unit 64 stores a first cam curve and a second cam curve. Before switch-over of the cam curves, a control unit 66 finds a position command value to a driven shaft, based on a value on the first cam curve at each control timing, after the switch-over of the cam curves, the control unit finds the position command value, based on a value on the second cam curve at each control timing, and in a switch-over period of the cam curves, the control unit finds the position command value to the driven shaft, based on a value obtained by subjecting first data based on the first cam curve or a position of the driven shaft, and second data based on the second cam curve to weighted average at each control timing. |

Problem: To provide a technology for detecting an internal abnormality of a rectangular wave incremental encoder. Means to Solve the Problem: An encoder 3 includes: an optical block 20 that outputs an A phase sinusoidal wave signal and a B phase sinusoidal wave signal in response to the rotation of a rotor; a signal output unit 22 that generates an A phase output signal of a rectangular wave and a B phase output signal of a rectangular wave from the A phase sinusoidal wave signal and the B phase sinusoidal wave signal, respectively and outputs the generated signals; an internal signal generating unit (comparator 41) that generates an A phase internal signal of a rectangular wave and a B phase internal signal of a rectangular wave from the A phase sinusoidal wave signal and the B phase sinusoidal wave signal, respectively; counters 46, 47, 56, 57; and an abnormality detector 50. Each counter 46, 47, 56, 57 resets in response to a pulse edge of a signal for detection. The abnormality detector 50 detects an abnormality when the count value of at least one of counters 46, 47, 56, 57 reaches a prescribed value. |
