The thermally conductive silicone composition contains the following components (A), (B), (C), (D), (E), and (F): (A) an organopolysiloxane having at least two alkenyl groups at ends of the molecular chain and having a kinematic viscosity at 25°C of 100 to 500,000 mm<2>/s; (B) a hydrolyzable methylpolysiloxane having three functional groups at one end and represented by the following general formula (1), <img class="EMIRef" id="069c41dd-cdfd-4b98-9e17-9d6d2ce7414f-ia01" /> wherein, in the formula (1), R<1> is an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, and a is a number of from 5 to 100); (C) a bismuth tin-based alloy powder having a melting point of 220°C or lower; (D) a heat conductive filler different from the component (C) and having a melting point of 280°C or higher and an average particle diameter of 3 µm or more; (E) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane having at least two hydrogen atoms bonded directly to silicon atoms (Si-H groups) per molecule; and (F) a catalyst selected from platinum and platinum compounds. |

[Object] To provide a polymerizable silicone monomer that yields a polymer having excellent transparency, surface hydrophilicity, durability, and stain resistance, and a method for preparing the polymerizable silicone monomer. Another object of the present invention is to provide a curable composition containing the polymerizable silicone monomer, a polymer obtained by polymerizing the composition, and an ophthalmic device comprising the polymer.[Solution] A polymerizable silicone monomer represented by the following formula (1):wherein R<sup>1</sup> is, independently of each other, a monovalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, R<sup>2</sup> is, independently of each other, an alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms or an aryl group having 6 to 10 carbon atoms, R<sup>3</sup> is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, A<sup>1</sup> is a single bond or a divalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, Q is a divalent group selected from the group consisting of -A<sup>2</sup>-O-A<sup>3</sup>-and -O-A<sup>4</sup>-O-, A<sup>2</sup> and A<sup>3</sup> are, independently of each other, a single bond or an optionally branched divalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms wherein at least one hydrogen atom bonded to a carbon atom of the divalent hydrocarbon group may be substituted with an alkoxy group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, provided that A<sup>2</sup> and A<sup>3</sup> are not both single bonds, A<sup>4</sup> is an optionally branched divalent hydrocarbon group having 1 to 3 carbon atoms wherein at least one hydrogen atom bonded to a carbon atom of the divalent hydrocarbon group may be substituted with an alkoxy group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and n is an integer of 1 to 3. |
