The present invention is a thermally conductive sheet of a cured product of a silicone composition, including: (a) organopolysiloxane having 2 to 10 alkenyl groups only in a side chain; (b) organohydrogenpolysiloxane having hydrosilyl groups at both ends; (c) a thermally conductive filler; (d) a platinum-based curing catalyst; and (e) dimethylpolysiloxane having one end blocked with a trialcoxysilyl group, wherein the thermally conductive sheet has a hardness of 7 or less, maximum stress of 0.7 MPa or less when compressed by 50% at a compression speed of 3 mm/min, residual stress of 0.1 MPa or more, and a ratio of the max stress to the residual stress of 7/1 or less. This can provide a thermally conductive sheet with excellent thermal conductivity, a small difference between maximum stress and residual stress, and a suitable balance between compressibility and resilience, as a heat dissipation member for automotive components. |

The present invention is a thermally conductive silicone composition in which a hydrolyzable organopolysiloxane represented by the following general formula (1) is compounded as a component (C), and a cured product thereof. As a result, a thermally conductive silicone composition and a cured product thereof are provided:wherein R<sup>1</sup> is independently an aromatic hydrocarbon group having 6 to 10 carbon atoms; R<sup>2</sup> is independently an alkyl group having 1 to 10 carbon atoms; R<sup>3</sup> is an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; "a"is 2 or 3; and "n" s an integer of 2 ≤ n ≤ 60. |

Provided is a terbium-including paramagnetic garnet-type transparent ceramic in which a maximum change amount of an incident laser beam diameter can be kept to 10% or less even in a case in which incidence power of laser light having a wavelength of 1064 nm and a beam diameter of 1.6 mm is increased to 160 W. The terbium-including paramagnetic garnet-type transparent ceramic includes a sintered body of a composite oxide represented by Formula (1): (Tb<1-x-y>Y<x>Sc<y>)<3>(Al<1-z>Sc<z>)<5>O<12> (1) (0.35 ≤ x ≤ 0.45, 0 < y < 0.03, 0.5 < 1-x-y < 0.65, 0.001 < z < 0.03, and 0 < y + z < 0.06), and has a total light transmittance of 84.8% or more at a wavelength of 600 nm. A magneto-optical element is an optical isolator that includes the transparent ceramic as a Faraday rotator 110, includes a polarizer 120 and an analyzer 130 on a front and back side of an optical axis 102 of the Faraday rotator, and is usable in a wavelength band of 0.9 µm or greater and 1.1 µm or less. |

Provided is a composite substrate for surface acoustic wave devices, the composite substrate including a piezoelectric single crystal thin film, a support substrate, and at least one intervening layer that is provided between the piezoelectric single crystal thin film and the support substrate, the intervening layer being in contact with the piezoelectric single crystal thin film, the total thickness of the intervening layer being equal to or less than twice the wavelength of the surface acoustic wave, and the attenuation of a longitudinal wave of the intervening layer as calculated by a Brillouin oscillation method at a frequency of 40 GHz to 60 GHz being 8 × 10<sup>-2</sup> (nm<sup>-1</sup> · THz<sup>-2</sup>) or less. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a composite substrate for surface acoustic wave devices, which has a small loss in the pass band of a filter, few spurious components, and excellent high performance and high reliability. |
