Schwan Schorer & Partner wurde 1964 von Patentanwalt Gerhard Schwan gegründet und blickt von seinem Sitz im Münchner Stadtteil Schwabing aus auf eine mehr als fünfzigjährige Geschichte zurück. There is provided a transmission system for a wireless mobile electronic device, comprising: a ground plane (20); a first antenna element which is separate from the ground plane and which is implemented as a strip (30) comprising a feeding end (31) configured to be coupled to a transceiver (60) for feeding an RF signal to the first antenna element and a free end (32), wherein the strip comprises a first arm (33) including the feeding end and a second arm (34) extending at an angle from the first arm; and a second antenna element (40) separate from the first antenna element, which is shorted to the ground plane so as to act as a parasitic element. The first and second antenna elements are located adjacent to each other at an end (23) of the ground plane, the second arm of the first antenna element points towards the second antenna element, and the arrangement formed by the first and second antenna elements has no symmetry plane. |

Zusammenfassung
A thermal management system for uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) is disclosed. The thermal management system can include a plurality of power modules and a cooling assembly operatively coupled to the power modules. The cooling assembly can include a cold plate cooling arrangement configured to circulate a cooling fluid through cold plates in thermal contact with the power modules. The cooling assembly can include a single-phase immersion cooling arrangement configured to submerge the power modules in a dielectric fluid for direct contact with the power modules. The cooling assembly can include a two-phase immersion cooling arrangement configured to immerse the power modules in a dielectric liquid that transitions from liquid to vapor upon heat absorption, with subsequent condensation and recirculation of the dielectric liquid. The system can be configured to accommodate various power densities and UPS configurations. |

Zusammenfassung
The present invention provides an uninterruptible power supply, including: a primary branch, including a rectifier module and an inverter module; a battery branch, including a bidirectional power conversion module and a battery; and a controller, including a charge/discharge controller. The charge/discharge controller is configured to: when an increment of a load amount of the load is greater than a first preset threshold, control the bidirectional power conversion module to perform DC-DC conversion on a direct current output by the battery, so that the battery supplies power to the load to meet an increased power requirement of the load, thereby maintaining a stable output power of the alternating current power supply; and when a decrement of the load amount of the load is greater than a second preset threshold, control the bidirectional power conversion module to perform DC-DC conversion on a direct current that is output by the rectifier module and exceeds a power requirement of the load to charge the battery, thereby maintaining a stable output power of the alternating current power supply. |

A method for locating a high impedance fault event location in a distribution system is provided. The method includes determining a topology ranking for sensors in a distribution system. The topology refers to the arrangement of sensors with respect to one another in network. The topology ranking represents a number of steps from a power source to a sensor with respect to the direction of current flow The method further includes receiving an alarm at a central processor indicating a high impedance fault event, transmitting a request for data associated with the high impedance fault event to the plurality of sensors and a plurality of edge processing devices in the distribution system, receiving the requested data from the edge processing devices and determining a relative location of the high impedance fault event with respect to one of the plurality of sensors using the requested data and the topology ranking. |
