A shutter assembly includes a slider slidable in a first direction relative to a cassette, and first and second arms coupled the slider and the cassette that are independently slidable in the first direction relative to the slider and the cassette and pivotable relative to the slider and the cassette, and shutter plates coupled to the arms such that are movable between a closed condition and an open condition wherein the apertures of the shutter plates are aligned with one another and the of terminals of the cassette. The slider includes a locking portion structured to enable the slider to be padlocked to a member extending from the top surface of the cassette. The shutter assembly also includes a latching mechanism for latching the shutter assembly in the open condition.

A vandalism detection and alert system (VDAS) is provided for an EV charging network monitored by a charge point operator (CPO). The VDAS is designed for use with a network whose EV charging stations use connector cables that include NTC cables to monitor over-temperature conditions. The VDAS includes an NTC monitoring logic module that continuously monitors each NTC cable in a given charging station. If there is a discontinuity in the communication path between an NTC cable and the NTC monitoring logic, the connector cable has likely been vandalized. The discontinuity causes an alarm to be issued in the specific charging station where the cable was vandalized and also causes an alert to be sent to the CPO. The CPO then issues a Panic Alarm command to all other charging stations associated with the site, causing all charging stations at the site to actuate their alarms.

An improved emergency pedestal includes a lighting projection device to increase visibility and identifiability of the emergency pedestal. The lighting projection device is separate from an illumination lens that provides lighting to illuminate the area around the emergency pedestal. The lighting projection device is configured to project an illuminated image on a nearby ground surface. The illuminated image depicts a fire extinguisher and/or text or other imagery that identifies the emergency pedestal as specifically being an emergency pedestal. Projecting the illuminated image helps a user to clearly differentiate the emergency pedestal from other outdoor pedestals such as power pedestals, especially in low ambient lighting or low visibility conditions.

A thermal management system for uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) is disclosed. The thermal management system can include a plurality of power modules and a cooling assembly operatively coupled to the power modules. The cooling assembly can include a cold plate cooling arrangement configured to circulate a cooling fluid through cold plates in thermal contact with the power modules. The cooling assembly can include a single-phase immersion cooling arrangement configured to submerge the power modules in a dielectric fluid for direct contact with the power modules. The cooling assembly can include a two-phase immersion cooling arrangement configured to immerse the power modules in a dielectric liquid that transitions from liquid to vapor upon heat absorption, with subsequent condensation and recirculation of the dielectric liquid. The system can be configured to accommodate various power densities and UPS configurations.

Systems include a prime mover that generates power for a mobile vehicle; a power converter that receives a portion of the generated power, and provides configured electrical power to an aftertreatment heater device configured to selectively heat an exhaust fluid of the prime mover; at least one aftertreatment component positioned downstream of the aftertreatment heater device, and configured to treat a constituent of the exhaust fluid; and a controller including an operating conditions circuit structured to interpret an operating parameter of one of the power converter, the aftertreatment heater device, the prime mover, or the exhaust fluid; a heater management circuit that determines a heating power value in response to the operating parameter; and a heater control circuit that provides a heating command in response to the heating power value; and wherein the power converter is responsive to the heating command to heat the exhaust fluid of the prime mover.

The present disclosure provides a protection apparatus for a battery management system and a battery management system. The protection apparatus includes a primary protection module and a secondary protection module, where the primary protection module is a controllable switch assembly configured to cut off a battery circuit based on abnormal operating signals of a battery, the abnormal operating signals including a first-type abnormal operating signal and a second-type abnormal operating signal; and the secondary protection module includes an active fuse and a passive fuse that are connected in series with each other, and when the primary protection module cannot operate normally, the active fuse cuts off the battery circuit based on the first-type abnormal operating signal, and the passive fuse cuts off the battery circuit based on the second-type abnormal operating signal.

A circuit interrupter structured to electrically connect between a power source and a load, , the circuit interrupter comprising: separable contacts structured to open to provide galvanic isolation between the power source and the load; an operating mechanism structured to open and close the separable contacts; a first position sensor structured to sense a position of the separable contacts; a solid state switch module structured to have a closed state to allow current to flow through the circuit interrupter and an open state to interrupt current flowing through the circuit interrupter; and an electronic trip unit structured to control the solid state switch module to change between the open state and the closed state and to control the operating mechanism to open the separable contacts, wherein, based on an output of the first position sensor, the electronic trip unit is structured to control the solid state switch module to control the solid state switch module to change from the open state to the closed state when the separable contacts are in a closed position.
