A toilet arrangement for a vehicle comprises two adjacent toilet compartments (22, 24), in which toilets (32, 34) are positioned, wherein a first toilet (32) comprises a larger distance to a respective opening of a first toilet compartment (22) than the second toilet (34). Through a forward dividing flap (36) situated between the first toilet compartment (22) and the second toilet compartment (24) the first toilet compartment (22) is separatable from the second toilet compartment (24). A door (28) of the first toilet compartment (32) may be opened and the forward dividing panel may be rotated to close the first opening (23). The space of both toilet compartments are combined and a wheelchair may be placed in the first toilet compartment to allow a person with limited mobility to easily access the second toilet (34). |

An aircraft wing 10 wing incorporating an active flow control (AFC) device 25. The AFC device comprises a fluid chamber 26 housed in the wing providing a conduit for receiving fluid and accommodating the fluid at elevated pressure. Forward and rearward fluid channels 32 and 38 having respective inlets 34 and 40 and outlets 36 and 42 are also provided, wherein the inlets are in fluid communication with the fluid chamber and the outlets emerge on the upper surface of the wing at or adjacent the leading edge. A valve assembly 28 allows the channels to be opened and closed as desired. During flight, fluid at elevated pressure can be supplied to the fluid chamber and released through either the forward or the rearward fluid channel or both, so as to influence the air flow, e.g. to reduce or increase lift, or to equalize pressure in the air stream direction. |

An aircraft ground support equipment, GSE, unit (10) for externally accessing video data from an aircraft video surveillance system, AVSS. The GSE unit constitutes a back-up AC power supply for the aircraft's AVSS and comprises a power output connector (104) for connecting a power cable (14) to a ground connection panel (20) on the outside of the aircraft. AC power is supplied either by a rechargeable battery (120) through a converter (122), or by mains power plugged into the GSE unit. A power source selection switch (124) is switched to route either battery power or external power to the aircraft dependent on factors including battery status, presence of power at the external power connector and presence of power in the aircraft. Video data from the AVSS can thus be streamed out, even in the absence of aircraft power, for example to a portable personal computer (30). |
