The present disclosure provides a method, apparatus and system for transmitting OMCI messages. The method comprises: receiving an OMCI message from a cloud server, wherein the cloud server supports vOMCI; judging whether the received OMCI message is associated with device information of the optical line terminal, if so, obtaining device association information corresponding to the received OMCI message, filling the device association information into the received OMCI message, and sending the filled OMCI message to the optical network terminal, otherwise, sending the received OMCI message directly to the optical network terminal. This disclosure, for OMCI messages requiring OLT assistance, by generating OMCI messages that do not carry valid device association information in the cloud server and fills them in the OLT, the integrity of the vOMCI can be maintained and it is ensured that all OMCI messages can reach the ONT before a specific superframe reaches the ONT, thereby meeting the timing requirements. |

Example embodiments describe a communication controller (151) configured to control joint-coordination of communication signals exchanged between an access node (100) and remote devices (140) over respective communication lines (112); communications between the access node and the remote devices alternating between first time sub-frames and second time sub-frames; the first time sub-frames corresponding to full-duplex, FDX, downstream-priority sub-frames (FDS) or to time-division duplexing, TDD, downstream sub-frames (HDS), and the second time sub-frames corresponding to FDX upstream-priority sub-frames (FUS) or to TDD upstream sub-frames (HUS); wherein the communication controller is further configured to characterize first cross-talk channels into receivers (141) of the remote devices during the first time sub-frames and to characterize second cross-talk channels into receivers (111) of the access node during the second time sub-frames, and wherein the communication controller is further configured to control the joint-coordination during the first or second time-sub-frames based on the so-characterized first and second crosstalk channels. |
