Modular devices for jetting a fluid material and components for modular jetting devices. The devices may include a pressurized air or positive displacement pump fluid supply module to supply a fluid module inlet. A syringe may feed material through a check valve to a positive displacement pump, which feeds material through another check valve to the fluid module. Inside the fluid module is a valve element moved to contact a valve seat and jet a droplet of material by contact between an external drive pin and a movable element of the fluid module. Either a piezoelectric actuator, a pneumatic actuator, or another actuator may move the drive pin. A controller may coordinate the supply of fluid from the positive displacement pump with the rate at which material is jetted. The fluid module and positive displacement pump are easily removable from the jetting device.

Systems and methods for enhanced coating dispensing controls are disclosed. A dispensing system is configured to apply material to a sequence of substrates. The dispensing system applies a first amount of material to a first substrate according to a first value of an operating parameter. A sensor is used to measure a characteristic of the first amount of material applied on the first substrate. Based on the characteristic of the first amount of material applied on the first substrate, a characteristic of an amount of material, after being applied on a subsequent substrate in the sequence of substrates, is estimated to be outside of a range. The value of the operating parameter is adjusted in response and a second amount of material is applied to a second substrate.

A dual fluid cartridge assembly includes a cartridge, a flange, and a piston tube. The cartridge defines a channel and includes an flange. The flange defines a cavity that extends from a cavity opening to a cavity base. The cavity opening is positioned within the channel of the cartridge, and the cavity base is positioned external to the cartridge. The piston tube has an extended end, and is positioned at least partially within the channel. The extended end is positioned within the cavity.

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Filtrieren eines Fluids, insbesondere einer Verunreinigungen aufweisenden Kunststoff-Schmelze, mit einem Gehäuse, welches mindestens einen Einlass zum Einleiten des Fluids und einen Auslass zum Abgeben des Fluids sowie einen in dem Gehäuse durch Wandabschnitte des Gehäuses ausgebildeten Hohlraum zum Aufnehmen eines Siebträgers aufweist und einen beweglich in dem Hohlraum des Gehäuses angeordneten und eine Längsachse aufweisenden Siebträger zum Aufnehmen mindestens eines Filterelements zum Filtrieren des Fluids.Erfindungsgemäß wird vorgeschlagen, dass der Siebträger außen mehrere integral ausgebildete Erhebungen aufweist und/oder an den Hohlraum begrenzenden Wandabschnitten des Gehäuses Erhebungen und/oder Ausnehmungen ausgebildet sind, derart, dass zwischen dem Wandabschnitt und dem Siebträger mehrere Spalte/Hohlräume ausgebildet sind, mittels derer ein geringer Fluidfluss im Betrieb ermöglicht ist. Die Erfindung betrifft ferner eine Ventilanordnung.
