A method for a combustion engine (200) of a vehicle is presented. The combustion engine comprises: - a first group (225a) of two or more cylinders (220a-d) connected to a first exhaust gas manifold (240a) comprising a first pressure sensor (241a); and - a second group (225b) of two or more cylinders connected to a second exhaust gas manifold (240b) comprising a second pressure sensor (241b). The method performed during normal operation of the combustion engine comprises: - inducing at least one fuel cutoff for at least one (220a) of the four or more cylinders (220a-h); - measuring at least one first and at least one second misfire pressure responses by utilization of the first and second pressure sensors, respectively; - determining at least one misfire template for the combustion engine individual based on the at least one first and the at least one second misfire pressure responses. |

A method (100) of identifying malfunctioning of a compression release arrangement (7) of an internal combustion engine (1) is disclosed, wherein the engine (1) comprises a plurality of cylinders (c1-c4), the compression release arrangement (7), and an inlet manifold (14) arranged to supply air or an air/fuel mixture to each of the plurality of cylinders (c1-c4). The method (100) comprises, when the compression release arrangement (7) is in an activated state, obtaining (110) data representative of pressure peaks (pp) in the inlet manifold (14) and the crank angle/angles (CA) of the crankshaft (16) of the engine (1) at which the pressure peaks (pp) occur, and identifying (120) a number of cylinders (c1) of the plurality of cylinders (c1-c4) associated with a malfunctioning of the compression release arrangement (7) based on the obtained data. The method (100) comprises obtaining (110) a gas pressure estimate representative of the pressure in the inlet manifold (14), obtaining (120) a cylinder pressure estimate, and in response to a set of conditions being met, phase shifting (130) the timing control of the at least one inlet valve (18), by controlling the inlet valve phase shifting arrangement (32), to reduce the magnitude of the difference between the cylinder pressure estimate and the gas pressure estimate at an opening event (61) of the at least one inlet valve (18). A system (1) designed to assist individual vehicles (20, 21, 22, 23), and/or fleet management systems (30), in predicting future energy consumption of an individual vehicle (20, 21, 22, 23) is described. The system (1) is configured to collect data from a plurality of vehicles (20, 21, 22, 23), said data comprising geographic position, date and time of stops (S, S1, S2, S3, S4, S5), and vehicle load change (ΔVL) at the respective stops (S, S1, S2, S3, S4, S5). The system (1) is further configured to process the collected data. Moreover, the system (1) is configured to, based on the processed data, predict change in vehicle load (ΔVL) for an individual vehicle (20, 21, 22, 23) at one or more predefined upcoming stops (S, S1, S2, S3, S4, S5) of said individual vehicle (20, 21, 22, 23). The system (1) is also configured to communicate the predicted change in vehicle load at the one or more predefined upcoming stops (S, S1, S2, S3, S4, S5) to the individual vehicle (20, 21, 22, 23) and/or a fleet management system (30) associated with said individual vehicle. Hybridfahrzeug sowie Verfahren, insbesondere für den Transport von Stückgütern oder Sendungen, mit einem Elektromotor zu Bewegung des Hybridfahrzeugs, einer Batterie, wobei die Batterie verbunden ist mit dem Elektromotor und den Elektromotor mit Strom versorgt. Weiterhin weist das Hybridfahrzeug eine Generatoreinheit auf, wobei die Generatoreinheit einen Verbrennungsmotor und einen mit dem Verbrennungsmotor verbundenen Generator aufweist, wobei der Generator die Bewegungsenergie des Verbrennungsmotors in Strom umwandelt zum Betrieb des Elektromotors oder zur Speicherung in der Batterie. Eine Steuereinheit ist mit der Generatoreinheit verbunden und weiterhin ausgebildet die durch das Hybridfahrzeug zurückgelegte Strecke zu ermitteln. Dabei ist die Steuereinheit weiterhin ausgebildet die Generatoreinheit zu steuern in Abhängigkeit der von dem Hybridfahrzeug zurückgelegten Strecke. |
