There is provided an installation structure for an oil control valve configured to control a hydraulic pressure to a variable valve device, in an engine in which a cylinder head cover is provided on a cylinder head, and the variable valve device that is configured to change an opening and closing timing of a valve by a hydraulic pressure is mounted. The installation structure includes: a first slope that slopes upward and rearward from a front end on an upper surface of the cylinder head cover; and a second slope that slopes downward and rearward from a rear end of the first slope on the upper surface of the cylinder head cover. A radiator is installed in front of the cylinder head cover, and the oil control valve is installed on the second slope.

A drive transmission apparatus comprising a dog clutch comprises a dog gear assembly and a dog ring, which are configured for rotation about a rotational axis and relative axial adjustment between an engaged condition in which torque can be transmitted between the dog gear assembly and the dog ring, and a disengaged condition in which torque cannot be transmitted. The dog gear assembly includes a dog gear, a retractable dog assembly configured for movement relative to the dog gear between an extended position and a retracted position, and a control element that controls movement of the retractable dog assembly. The dog ring comprises a plurality of first dogs and the dog gear assembly comprises a plurality of second dogs that engage the first dogs in the engaged condition, and are disengaged from the first dogs in the disengaged condition. The second dogs include a plurality of fixed dogs that are mounted on the dog gear and a plurality of retractable dogs that comprise the retractable dog assembly.
