Component monitoring apparatus is described herein and comprises an input to receive sensor data from a sensor arrangement [S1-S4]. The sensor data may be representative of a use of a respective component during a monitoring interval. A memory may be provided to store received sensor data and a life parameter associated with the component , an interface may be provided to communicate with a remote device and a power cell may be provided to power the apparatus . The apparatus may be arranged to: store in the memory received sensor data, in response to a trigger, read the sensor data from the data memory and transfer the sensor data to the remote device, and, in response to receipt of a data packet containing a life parameter associated with the usage of the component , store the life parameter to the memory . |

Described and claimed is a C-shaped connection assembly for transmitting loads in a load plane between a first wing element and a second wing element. The connection assembly comprises a first and a second L-shaped load-bearing device. Each load-bearing device comprises a joint region and two legs extending parallel to the load plane and away from the joint region towards respective end regions. One leg of the first load-bearing device extends parallel to one leg of the second load bearing device. These legs are connected to one another. Two coupling portions for connecting the connection assembly to the second wing element are formed in the respective joint regions of the load-bearing devices. Two further coupling portions for connecting the connection assembly to the first wing element are formed in respective free end region of the load-bearing device and the joint region of the second load-bearing device. Further, a slat assembly for a main wing of an aircraft and an aircraft comprising a slat assembly are described and claimed. |

Alternatively, the oxygen supply system comprises an oxygen generator (G) held in a gas generator housing and configured to supply oxygen to the oxygen supply equipment, a thermal fuse (F) attached to the oxygen generator or the generator housing, the thermal fuse (F) having a fusible link which blows upon exceeding a predefined fusing temperature, and a function tester (8) coupled in series to the thermal fuse (F) and configured to test whether the fusible link of the thermal fuse (F) is blown, and to signal a result of the test to a user. |
